I don't know which is the next DLC but it 2 locations have been datamined:

    1. Vvardenfell

    2. some large dwemer city (forgot the mane)

I'd prefer they do away with classes entirely. Make each char a blank slate.

New classes shouldn't, and I doubt they will be incorporated, id like one, but introducing a new class would not only break the little balance we now have but it would also mean another class for them to balance because I already KNOW its gonna be either very overpowered or very very bad. That said, no classes needed until they rework with the classes we have and fix them with balance.

That said, Ive heard rumours that an expansion pack MAY be released, though it can be released in form of DLC as well, if its that much content that ive been hearing off, id think ZoS would release it as an expansion pack and charge the same amount as you did for the game (40-60 pounds). If its a DLC, I'm not sure how much of the content or how big the content will be since DLCs tend to be much smaller (although, if they do something like Orsinium ill be happy). But yes Vvardenfall (From Morrowind) or Clockwork city may be added. Although, id love something in Elseweyir...

Next official update /dlc is player housing in q1 2017. Although there isn't any mention I've seen as too wether its going too be a free update otlr paid content and its not adding quests or any new zones. Outside this I'm pretty sure clockwork city is the next too ad new zones and quests.

Do we know for sure that Clockwork City is a DLC on itself? It could be a trial that comes with Vvardenfell.

Vvardenfell could be an expansion pack. It would explain why ZOS is taking so long to announce it: They are preparing for a big announcement.

Vvardenfell could add Clockwork City and the Warden class, which had its skill lines datamined recently. That would be more content than any DLC added so far and it could be enough content for an expansion pack.

This is game is so prime for a large real expansion and not these dinky dlc's that last you a couple of hours, but I don't think they are making an expansion, I wish they would, but with the lack of communication these days and the fact they are slower than owl poop when it comes to fixing anything, I just do not think they have the staff to do any more large projects. at least that is the perception they leave to me anyway.

I guess we will see what they throw at us in the future.

I don't see what a new class would bring that the old ones don't already have and would prefer new skill lines, spell crafting or other alternative progression methods that benefits all the pre-existing classes. If they are indeed going to begin pushing out new classes then I would very much like to either be able to change my class (don't care if I have to pay for it) or have all achievements be shared across the account, since I don't like focusing on more than one character. Just my opinion.

If they did have a real Xpac incoming, I hope it would be a full-sized one and not a mini expansion. Would need to be a significant landmass increase with a lot of content. One or two maps simply wouldn't cut it.

A "Warden" class? Oh please, that would be a low stupid move, even for ZOS. Adding a new class will unbalance the very few balanced things that ESO already has. Unless they want even more complaints and angry posts, adding a new class will do nothing

The Warden class have a Nature Magic, a Frost Magic and a Pet Taming skill lines. I'm especially interested in the Frost Magic skill line, since the only frost spells we have are Ice Comet ultimate and the Ice Staff skills while Lightning and Fire have class skill lines (Sorcerer and DK), and I am hoping the Pet Taming skill line allows for a stamina pet character.

I do agree that it would be awesome if they allowed for class change if they added any new classes, or at least they could add more character slots with it.

I think they're going to continue what we see, unlockable content vs actual expansions

So we'll get a major game update and then have the option to sub or buy via crowns the content.

I do believe that some of the updates ppl have talked about for now 2 years, above will come and possibly the two will be major like Orsinium (solely based on very old info)

Honestly tho all we know is that housing seems to be next based on a recent Dev comment that they are busy working on all the housing updates. That shouldn't rule out any other content tho but just all we can go off of is what was shared publicly.

To me there's only been one DLC that was actually good and it was Orsinium, but that's just my opinion.

To be honest I think we need an expansion the size of like 4-5 DLCs combined, with a whole new group of zones with storyline and narrative, with a variety of dungeons, trials, item sets and features on par with that of classic MMO expansion packs, I'd honestly pay €50 for it. It feels like ESO is.. wandering aimlessly, not sure what it wants or where it wants to go - so it just goes somewhere and does something without really thinking about it.
Imagine Clockwork City being released as this absolutely massive world with several zones and dungeons within them and an overarching storyline that binds it all together, imagine it would take months to play through, imagine it being an expansion pack. :')

Having said that, ESO has never been healthier and the last couple of updates have been great!
Well.. except for PvP. Many of us don't do PvP anymore - because it's not Player vs. Player. It's proc set vs. proc set x)

Some are drawing from the new skills lines a conversation on spell crafting as well. It'll be interesting to see if either a new class or spell crafting are coming OR if it's something entirely different.

Not "a" Warden, "the" Warden. As in, the 5th class that was scrapped during alpha testing. Its skill lines were recently put back in the game files and datamined.

Well, there was a lot of things that they said that they wouldn't add and they ended up adding. Things change, such is the nature of MMOs.

They would need to improve pet AI, though, if they are planning to add another class with pets. Honestly I just want my ice skills :(

I find it funny people ask for balance in classes when it honestly cannot be achieved unless you do away with the class format. Even then, having a blank slate and access to all skill lines will not do any good since everyone will just flock to the flavour of the month build and then everyone will just spam the same old skills.

What ZoS needs to do is to have a semblance of balance. Which means buffing some here, and nerf-ing there constantly. Constantly change the meta. It's not just about reacting to forum posts but also on data at hand, game data that is more crucial to balance changes.

Things like they did with trap beast is good but more needs to be done.
