I hate Crystal Shard with a passion...
It pisses me off completely. It's embarassing. If I'm in a group with templars, for them it's probably that Piercing Javelin, crash boom bang, my CS doesn't even cast yet. Mages' Fury is completely useless... I want to have Mages' Fury act like that Piercing Javelin..or at least a morph of it, just simple damage, not that execution crap.

✭✭✭✭✭C Frags has the 50% chance of being a insta cast, using it once it procs while weaving Crushing Shock/Light/Heavy will activate it
I've once had it proc about 8 times in a row from just using Crushing Shock > Frag > Crushing Shock > Frag etc3 -
I just don't get why they had to make both Mages Fury morphs to be execute spells instead of just keeping as regular damage spell. Few days ago I tried Lightning Splash on a group of foes that didn't detect me and nothing happened."Is it true her wounds healed on their own ? Yes" No s***, at 75% health regen penalty!

I use swords on the front bar and destro on the back with Power Surge on one bar and Boundless Storm on the other, just a matter of quickly switching bars to keep both up, power surge first coz it lasts longer then shields cast next.
Edit: Crystal Shards does a stack load of damage that is why it has a 1 sec cast time , currently I am getting 22k damage per hit using a high crit %.Edited by ConeOfSilence on November 7, 2016 12:46PM0 -

Yea, well, Javelin is actually pretty weak. It is basically a PvP skill only and no respectable templar would use other than PvP and maybe early leveling up. It is only good for it's knockdown where frags is pretty solid.
Also, wrath is an execute. It should never be used until target is at 20%.0 -

You do not need a destruction staff to get an instant proc.Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.3 -

You can proc it with any other spell, so you don't need to use a destro staff. Proc it with Encase, proc it with Lightning Flood, proc it with Hardened Ward, proc it with Power Surge, proc it with Boundless Storm, proc it with whatever spell you want... Crushing shock/force pulse is kinda must have for a sorc. Without it you are bad sorc in terms of DPS. I really wonder what crap you have on your bar that you cant slot shield.Magicka sorcerer from start until the end. Always. Through the good times and the bad, even now when its probably saddest PvE dps it has ever been.
Even as an owner of one radiant apex mounts I am against radiant apex mounts and anything thats not obtainable by direct purchase.1 -
The most embarassing moment is when you're in a group with templars that cast so fast, that I can't even cast my CS because targets die under cursor. The Templar Javelin is also useful in very specific situations in PvE as a ranged interrupt, as well. The damage is low, but sometimes the ranged interrupt is a lifesaver. For example, upstairs in Hel Ra Citadel, a Templar doesn't need a destruction staff to help out.Why be normal when you can be better?
