What to go with gossmer?

if you have gosamer on jewelry, you can use it with magnus, for 5/5 bonuses (as you cannot get 5/5 bonuses with crafted sets? as you cannot craft jewelry) but really it's not so usefull for heal as SPC

I was looking to combine Gossamer with SPC for healing trials. I have been using SPC/Worm, but my groups have been largely stam based. I figured gossamer would work well with it. IDK? Worth trying something diff.

Regardless 9f whether you go with gossamer or not, the other set is always SPC. There is no getting around how good it is for a healer in every single situation.

I have tried gossamer with SPC and it works pretty well. Only done vet dungeons, so no trials. Probably depends on the dungeon/boss/fight and how much pressure your team mates are having.

But as others say, SPC is a must

i use spc/worm spc/twilight and spc/gossamer (rarely) it can be pretty good on trash, but spc should bassically always be your base set

There are some clearly misinformed and/or inexperienced opinions here. Those suggesting Gossamer is bad perhaps do not partake in the content for which it is most useful. Gossamer is least beneficial in a 4-man setting. We can make a very strong case for it in veteran trials, however.

In any case, your primary set as a healer should be SPC, as it grants one of the most potent group buffs. The question should be: "What should I pair with SPC?"

Then answer would then be any of these, if you intend to min/max or cater to the meta:
1. Infallible Aether (contingent upon whether or not a dps is running it)
2. Gossamer (contingent upon trial difficulty and mechanics)
3. Worm Cult (contingent upon # of magicka dps)
4. Twilight Remedy (though this set tends to have a relatively low up-time)

Unless you plan on doing PvP, SPC is really the only other viable option to wear with Gossamer as a healer.

SPC is the undisputed BiS healer set, every other healer set is supplementary to it, not a replacement for it.

In ProcvProc Cyrodiil, I prefer to couple Gossamer with Kagrenac's, just so I have a means of getting major evasion without having to use what little stamina I have on shuffle and the extra survivability of heavy Kagrenac's is too good for me to pass up

I really wouldn't just drop Gossamer if you don't have SPC. Better you have a useful healer set than not have any.

Well I've tried several, ultimately just having infinite sustain with Seducer / Magnus was the best option for me. I tried eyes of mara, and a bunch of different craftable sets. What I haven't tried yet is a DPS build, then hybrid healer.

I want to run trials with gossmer but I'm having problems finding people on the AD, I guess I have to beat the main story line to get cross faction zones.

@Smasherx74 all the beginning zones should be unlocked, and you can port to any groupmates or guild mate to unlock more. There's also boats to take you to other zones. You don't have to finish the main story anymore to go to the other zones. Plus.. if you're in Auridon you're actually seeing ad, ep, and DC people that are in Auridon. Not just fellow ad.

Doesn't seem to be the case.

My Sorc (which was created before 1T) cannot teleport to other faction zones, I get ported back to my original zone.

Nor can I walk otu dungeons into the other faction zones.


Is this a bug? I can confirm 100% im unable to travel to other zones.

In Rawl'ka in Reaper's March there is a cart that will take you to the other factions. It's in front of the building with the undaunted inside it, near the consumable crafting stations. Try that?

I think there are boats in Auridon, too, but I don't know where they are.

Instead of feeling down about the gear, why not decon it and thus get mats for crafting. That way it still has a purpose
