Having a tough time getting a system down where I can move, attack and change weapons....especially since I only have 2 hands
I was never a good guitar player so using the WASD and trying to hit 1-5 at same time is tough for me. Gotta be an easier way. Currently my weapon swap is F key. I just fat finger stuff too often. Never mind trying to learn to animation cancel
What are some of the things the pros use ?
BTW, is this any good? I mean, would it be a utter bs to spend cash on it?

Well, for one all the ability buttons are right next to each other, and since you can bind stuff how you want, and the time your thumb needs to travel from stick to buttons is low, if you have good hand eye cordination or build it up, you can not only DPS, but stay mobile while doing it.
It allows a unmatched level of flexibility and situational awareness. Keyboard and mouse without (and sometimes with) rebinding has your DPS buttons far from your movement buttons, this cuts out the middleman entirely.
I would not imagine tanking with any other method. Seriously, if you are not so adversed to controllers that you'd commit japanese ritual suicide, I reccomend you give it a whirl. (The UI is a bit jarring to get used to, but once you do you may come to -love- it over the default UI. I reccomend geting BetterUI if you seriously intend to use the controler, it's a godsend.)

That's assuming you use a basic mouse and have to bind almost everything to the keyboard. With a gaming mouse, I control movement with my left hand and attacks with my right, so I can easily do both at the same time.Doctordarkspawn wrote: »I use a standard xbox 360 controller. Why? I use a Razer Naga. Works fine for me without affecting my movement or whatever.
I like the corsair scimitar. Like the Naga but you can adjust where the side buttons are. And my Naga broke pretty quick. Hah.

Corsair is cool but no mac support is a dealbreaker for me. I've heard many people say that their Naga broke fairly quickly but mine has been rock-solid.
I have Logitech G600. Skills + ultimate and potion hotkeys on the side, weapon swap on scroll wheel and roll dodge on the third button. Could have moved more actions to the mouse, but I'm fine with this setup.
