Im glad the witch fest is over

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it for the first 1.5 weeks (the first night was crazy fun!) but the last week was just an xp grind.

It was hard to resist the 100% bonus but I missed my toon looking like the hot cake she is.

Im now looking forward to getting back to normal.

I can relate to that. I would like to see the motifs a little bit harder to get. I know that sounds crazy, but I npc vendor hundreds of them. I saved a few sets for my wife though when she gets back into it.

Cracked me up some of the prices for the recipes and motifs some people are trying to sell them at ! Do they not realise there are 1000s of them out there I ended up selling them to a merchant I had that many

I was selling them in Elden Root as recently as yesterday for 900 gold each. As of last night I had exactly 1 left in stock. Probably sold 50 of them the last few weeks at this price.

Interesting still active on PS4 for my wife's account, I have been playing on PC lately.
The announcements are still up and she is running around as the skeleton.
Maybe it is like the cake till it wears off or somebody at ZOS has a heart like we know they do.

Now is the time the price of the masks will rise in price on consoles. I've got 6 of them and gave 5 away for free during the festival. I've been fleeced enough during my time playing the game, so it's now a case of holding on to them and once they begin to become a rarity in guild stores, it will be my turn to fleece a sucker or 2. The motifs were also selling a lot faster yesterday too. Had mine priced at 213 (I was too lazy to adjust it down to 200) and all but 2 of the 40 i had on sale over the 3 guilds are all sold. 213 is obviously under pricing them now.

I liked how easy it was to get the motif. It makes it possible to get without a lot of frustration for players like me who get little time to play.

I'll be happy when I'm not tempted by an XP Bonus to make my toon look like everyone else. Also, I'll go AFK for a minute and come back and not remember which toon I'm on because I actively play all 12, but right now they all look the same.

Only problem I've encountered is trying to complete the achievement on another char and I can't seem to get the witches quest for Reaper's Harvest so can't complete it.

If you kept any disguises, when equip those made you look like the disguise and not the weird skeletons.

I keep a lot of those and just throw those on cause I really don't like the skeleton visuals over my character

As a lightning cat, yeah. =P I can deal with the variety of different designs (even if I'm not a fan of them all) but pretty much every person running around as a skeleton is just kind of weird and takes me out of the game.

@mumbling-midget You're obviously doing what i was doing. You have to repurchase the free whistle from the crown store on that specific character. I was sitting scratching my head trying to figure out how to begin the quest. Whilst you can use the whistle on all characters, each one has to actually obtain it from the crown store before the actual quest becomes available. I felt stupid.

Yeah I know, it's a bit annoying as well as hearing everyone do the same scream and clacking noise when moving.

At least most of the EU PC players apparently have their achievements and have ditched the costumes which is somewhat beneficial (and possibly anecdotal and situational evidence).

I tried to aquire it from the crown store on that char but got an error msg.
Do I need to delete the other somehow?
*edit* the error msg says that I cannot have more than one of the same item

That means you already have it, now just use it; the one in your inventory rather then the one in mementos. They are two separate/different whistles if I recall. One, to call the witch, is just a fancy Crow Whistle in your inventory. The other, that she gives you, is the Witchmother's Whistle (I think) that gets put in mementos.
