For those who don't know, Skywind is essentially a fantastic remaster of Morrowind.
On PC, I was planning to make my regular Skyrim "Skywind" and leave the Skyrim Remastered as Skyrim.
But I see that the mod isn't available to download anymore

IIRC the agreement with sony for mods is that you'll not be able to aquire any mods with NEW material. so skywind isn't likely to happen on the PS4.

✭✭✭✭✭To me it is great, that I have another version of Skyrim available with this - on the original one I play with the Climates of Tamriel winter edition and Frostfall, where the weather is really unpleasant and were the bliss is unimaginable, if there is a temperate day, where I can actually wear something else than thick fur - and with the new version, I will have the normal conditions - of course I will as well play with Frostfall, where weather matters, but I will see the beauty of the game not covered in snow - even I have seen a couple of mods, which make the snow experience even better with the new one.
I am a bit worried about the new lighting - because I really loved the lighting in the old one, which resembled the pale and washed out optics of Scandinavia really well. What I have seen so far, the new one is more like it would not be in a northern region, it is more brownish and vibrant - what is not the case with real landscapes in northern regions like Scandinavia. On the other side, I could just imagine it to be not that far north - I think the more dense foliage with the new one might support this.0 -
FoolishHuman✭✭✭✭✭I am really disappointed by this "remastered" edition. It's really just a graphics mod. They didn't even bother to include a single bug fix. No new animations (which are always the worst in elderscrolls games). Just good for screenshots, otherwise it's the same game. No wait, steam workshop support is gone, one of the best things they added since oblivion. I don't even see why I should download it.
And given for free to PC players so we can makes mods for the consoles which are the major selling point of the game now. Seems to me like they actually expect the community to do their work for them this time.0
