I suggest you comment there to keep up momentum to this issue that needs desperately fixing before the event ends.

Jastara✭✭✭Same thing happening here, logged in when the servers came back up. Someone mentioned they were not getting credit for the plunder skulls after I got about 15 of them. I checked my journal and it still showed that I had not gotten any yet.0 -

Didz✭✭Same here, I've been farming skulls all morning on one of my ALTS that hasn't been played since the start of the festival. Someone else in my group mentioned that he didn;t seem able to finish his achievement despite only needing one more skull and collecting over 15. I must have collected at least that many, but when I checked my journal it was still pristine and had not even registered my first skull recovery.
Also I've noticed that my ALT has collected an Essence of Death despite killing numerous bosses this morning. Fortunately, my main completed the quest before the patch so I do have access to the whistle.0 -
