I started playing this game about a month ago now. My previous MMO was WoW which I played on and off for approximately 9 years. There are a lot of things in this game that are very different from what I was used to, and at first I wasn't sure I would like them. But I told myself that this game was not a clone of that game, and to get used to the different ways of doing things in ESO. It is its own game with its own vision.

Levelling up over the last few weeks has left me literally flabbergasted at the amount of work and love that obviously went into making ESO. Walking around an entire world, visiting cities that look lived in, conversations with random people, convincing looking ruins scattered about, it's just so much. I love this world you have made.

I just wanted to say thank you as a new player, I have found a new game to play and I, for one, can see the hard work you have all put into it. The sub is worth every penny to me, and not many games can say that. I'll be playing this for a long time. From a new player, you have created a fantastic experience and I wanted to make sure to let you know it. :)

I absolutely agree. It shows that a lot of passion when in to creating all the little details in this game. It is obvious to me that the people working on this game does so because of a passion and love for the game and the fantasy genre in general. :-)

NIce to read a post like this.

Stay off the forums to protect this feeling. The dark side is strong here and its full of people who are anxious to tell you why you should not be enjoying the game.

Their is a lot of negativity on these forums (granted I've dished out some myself) but it's good to see a player enjoying the game.

And yes thank you Zenimax for the game and your hard work. Keep it up guys/gals.
And remember we complain because we care, and I hope, no we can see you care too :)

I think what I like most about this game that just adds a level of immersion that is just not found in other games are the books . Not the Mage Guild or skill books but the other ones the one that have absolutely nothing to do with game progression. There are histories, commentaries and notes on a large number of subjects, and a even a play "The Lusty Argonian Maid" yes it really exists.
Guild Master of the Guild <The Wrath of Sheogorath>. CHEESE AND CABBAGE FOR EVERYONE!!!

Yep I'd echo that. the experience overall is pretty amazing. Everything has its problems but overall I'd say that the ups are generally a lot more than the downs. Hopefully it will continue to grow. I think the guys working on this deserve a lot of credit for what they've done.
Say please, before you AAAAAaaaarrrgghhh at me.

Glad you're enjoying, and after having been here through beta and beyond, I share your sentiments still. Sure, there are things that annoy me (having abilities permanently locked behind classes rather than open to everyone, rngness, etc.), but all in all I still enjoy it.
