Adventurer Pack + Race Change

So I am a breton sorcerer in DC, but I would like to change to AD High Elf sorcerer for beneficial reasons. I know that with a race change I can only change to a race within my alliance, but what if I first apply the adventurer pack and become AD and then use a race change token, would it work?

That only allows you to opt for the faction when you're creating the character, not after creation.

I do think they should offer people at some point a one off alliance change. Especially now 1T is here. A one off would also stop people just shifting their allegiance depending on the colour of their favourite campaign in Cyrodiil.

You would be able to change to any race that way (I've done it) but you're still stuck in your original faction.

You can change your race to any race if you have the adventure pack. If you just buy the token without the ability to CREATE cross faction races, then you'll only be able to change it within your original faction.


Enjoy spending the same amount for a brand new game, just to change your character on ESO!

I am not sure what you mean by but what if I first apply the adventurer pack and become AD and then use a race change token


with adventurer pack you can not change to anything only by it. But even with adventurer pack, you can not switch faction, you can only change the race, but the character will stay in DC.
I have adventurer pack too. if you are now breton, without adventurer pack you can change only to Redguard or Orc (Daggerfall covenant), but if you buy adventurer pack first, then you are able to change to any race in the game, so also High Elf, but you will not change the faction. you will still stay in DC, but your character will be Highelf, but will stay in DC.

I had Altmer in AD, I bought the adventurer pack and switched her to redguard, but she stayed in AD as Redguard.
My second character is Khajiit, but she is in Ebonheart pact - I was able to create a khajiit character in EP because I have the adventurer pack

One question I have, does a race change include an appearance change?

The two tokens seem separate;

Say if I'm an Imperial and I race change to an Argonian... will there be any cosmetic changes? or Will I get to look like an Imperial with Argonian traits

Or do I get some base looking argonian and if I changed, I'd have to purchase an appearance change too
