Soul Shatter Viscous Death Build Doesn't Work

Just for those who are interested, this theory crafted build sucks:

Tried it out on ganking groups from range /w viscous death:

5 piece vd, 2 piece kena, 3 piece willpower, 2 torug swords on frontbar, backbar maelstrom destro

4.5k+ spell damage, 33k magicka, 1400 magicka regen; buffed

Front bar: structured entropy, maelific agnoy, inevitable detonation, funnel health, innerlight, shatter soul ult
Back bar: merciless resolve, cloak and whatever else

The goal was to try gank groups from afar;

with a group standing still, merciless resolve, pot, two light attacks, entropy, inevitable det, maelific, then shatter soul;

The guy in the group who I was attacking would die of course, but no one else; despite the shatter soul and maelific, vd effect;

I think the success of the old bomber builds were dependent on getting not one, but multiple people to die to VD to proc multiple chain reactions. That's why you saw success with proxy, soul tether, sap spam. What I reccomend is to get two or three "soul snipers"...

Or just 4 people running ransack viper tremorscale blackrose builds and rolling the entire server lol

Maelific agony is pretty meh and Degeneration is better use with Majika build . Noting that this test is completely void as vicious death is bugged and not procing currently .

Oh really? oO, true, I didn't see any VD in the damage report, but I assumed that it was because my targets were already dead

Im struggling to make this work as well..

I have a stam equivalent build that will do it but you really only get 2 or 3 good explosions in per fight, and usually you just kill one and severely injure a couple players. It feels clunky and hard to pull off, but Ive resigned myself to making it work.

I did this before. It does work if you judge it by the fact that once an hour you can go "HAHAHAHHAHA!!!" as you blow up 7 people trying to enter a door.

Sadly you leave yourself open to get destroyed in one on one situations. If you're in a Zerg have at it but if your solo there isn't a lot of use.

Maybe we'll see fewer vampire builds at least.
