No seriously. Great job on the Witches Festival. I know theres been a bit of a grumbling here on the forums over drop rates and how grindy it the event can be. But I just want to say Ive really enjoyed it. So far Ive gathered the vast majority of items and I have to commend you for deciding to make it easy to obtain the motif. Many MMOs would of just made it so you had to play the game every day through out the entirety of the event to get anything good from it. And it can be a real drag on the event itself when developers take that approach. Im glad you've taken a different approach to doing events.

Now theres been some productive feedback on the forums about the event as well. About how to make the events more social and engaging. I hope you take that advice seriously and look at how you can maybe improve your event for next year or the next event youre working on. It be nice if these events didnt just take you out into the wilderness of Tamriel but actually gave you a reason to engage others in cities as well.

Looking at the achievements for the New Life Festival, there appears to be a lot of social based ones. Like dancing with another player in the inns in Stonefalls or playing an instrument with another player in front of a crowd.

The items/motifs are cool and the xp bonus is a nice boon, throw in the fact that it's free and accessible to all players and it's been good event.

Sounds fun.

Was looking through them and they seemed to be just silly things that you clear out in an afternoon with a group of friends.

I have to admit, the event has been pretty good. I like the plunder skulls, and I like the fact you have to become a skeleton to receive the experience boost+skulls. They did it well.
Hopefully one day we'll have an event where, once you drink from the cauldron, you're transformed into a random creature so I can finally live out my dream of becoming a mudcrab.

It was fun until I ran out of inventory space. Now I can't fit any more loot. Still, there might be someone somewhere who didn't get all the motifs by the end of the event I might sell maybe 1 to.

ZOS do a lot of crap that annoys me, but at least I know when they've done something good, and the event was implemented very well. You're getting a free 100% experience boost, a chance at dropping 2 free masks (which I've already got) and easily obtainable nice looking motif (I also managed to finish this). If you're still unhappy about that I don't think anything they do will gain your approval.

I was only really interested in the xp boost but I've run plenty of dungeons and landed some skulls.. Got some motifs so I'm happy... I'm indifferent to achievements and collecting for the sake of it unlike some who seem fanatical lol

All in all a good event...

yeah, i do greatly enjoy the witches festival, while its probably too bare bone and repetitive, but hunting the motif and going farming all kind of bosses in skeleton from is fun for me and my friends

and i believe the new life will be more awesome!, since theres lot of social aspect in it, imagine looking at people dancing at the same time at the center of the city lol

I've been having a blast with this event. I feared the worst with everything based around RNG... but instead the drops have been plentiful, and I've been running around with friends and guildies non-stop, getting skulls and sharing out loot.

Now I'm really excited for the New Life festival, which looks to be much more in-depth and developed. Here's hoping that ZOS makes it another nice, long event so everyone gets a chance to participate.
