I'm currently on my VR headset so will update my OP later with my thoughts but - I want to know how everyone is feeling about this new event.

PC has One Tamriel but Console doesn't yet, right? Do you see any advantages or disadvantages to that?

Are you more excited, less excited or indifferent to the event? Why?

The event also introduces a Crown Store only motif. How do you feel about this?

They are also recycling last years Polymorphs and mount. Do you like or dislike this?

Are you planning to play more over Halloween because of this event?

Any concerns or negative/positive feedback?

I think console may have some advantage, as they won't be in competition with EVERYONE trying to get bosses. Those things melt faster than butter in the desert on PC now

I'm excited, I like creepy holidays And it's lore friendly!

A bit sad on the store motif, but at least I can farm for the in-game one.

Actually happy about the recycled stuff. It's nice that others get a chance at something they may have missed, or for new players to get. They need to recycle more...without using crown crates!

I do plan to play a lot during the event. I've been playing Skyrim to keep me from burning out on ESO, just to be ready for this

Only worried that getting bosses will be a lot harder with so many people farming everywhere. I'm hoping my worries are for naught, and it won't be too bad.

Advantages to console - can solo bosses everywhere. Although this may not matter. Sure console doesn't have competition now... but once the festival hits it could be just like PC has been since One Tam.

Advantages to PC - you also get useful stuff from the bosses.

As far as I know, no. Hasn't been confirmed or denied. My thoughts were "well, they could explain it isn't exclusive and calm down a whole bunch of angry people, or they can choose not to tell them and let them be angry. Seems foolish to choose keeping them angry if they are actually angry about something that is incorrect"

Could go either way, but I do seriously hope it is not CS exclusive. Yes, partly cause it is the right thing to do and yes because it avoids some really deep questions of where next, but mostly cause it'd be awesome if zos let people stew and just sat there chuckling.

We'll know tomorrow, for better or worse.

I'm happy and still gonna buy it. I rlly like how the gear looks from the previews, and I absolutely want my crafter to learn the style

@Tryxus As per your first point. The festival will (not past tense) last as long on console as it will on PC... since they are the same dates. Just so you are aware.. console is getting the festival tomorrow too

The biggest thing, besides the new content, is the EXP Buff that comes with this. However, sitting at CP641 or 642, does not really give me much of a reason to need this. Of course I will still buff the EXP when I can, but I probably won't be spending any time grinding for Exp with it.

The Crown Store only motif has me worried. But I have long since given up trying to have all the motifs. I farm what I can, buy the bargains when I see them, and if I complete an exotic motif, then I do, if not, no big shakes.

Which reminds me, I picked up a Yokudan Chests the other night, trying to figure out if I should sell it or not.

I too am concerned about the Crown Motif. Having Crown motifs is one thing, when it's Crown only that is a slippery slope Zos. And as a "completionest", I have 33/37 of current motifs, so kinda sad the only way to get new one is crowns. Plus since I can craft and sell the "special" gear takes it a step away from cosmetic only..
Also, if you sell that motif, let me know in game how much.

Not happy if the motif is crown store only, but also not surprised. They have been heading that way for a while, and I have long ago given up on farming motifs. If I get it, cool, but if not I just won't craft it.

Waiting to see for the rest. I am planning on playing tomorrow, and will decide from there. I do find it interesting that the event will be on different versions of the game between PC and Console, at least at first. I am interested in how the differences manifest themselves.

I am excited for the event but it is really disappointing to hear they are bringing back last year's mount and polymorph. I hate it when games release "limited time only" items, then turn around and sell them again later. It defeats the purpose of even having them.
WAY TO TAKE ANY UNIQUENES OUT OF THE GAME ZOS.

As an xbone player the advantages I see that we'll have are that we'll get the best part of a week pre 1T. No faction mixing to help keep the numbers down and no scaling so bosses will be easy to solo. Disadvantages are that even though there hopefully won't be as many players at bosses, without the scaling they're going to get killed even quicker than they do on pc anyway. Also I think the boss respawn times have been reduced with 1T so we're going to miss out on that at the start.

I'm excited for the event, lots of cool stuff to try and collect, and it's free!

If that motif is only in the crown store I won't be happy. Trying to collect all of the motifs is one of the things I enjoy, I won't buy the motif and collecting motifs just won't feel the same if there's one missing I can never get.

Recycling polymorphs and mounts is a good thing for people that couldn't get them previously for whatever reason.

I'll probably try and play a bit more, got to try and collect all the goodies! Speaking of which is there a list of everything? I know there's the motif so 14 chapters but don't know how many recipes or hats or anything else there might be.

As I'm currently on 525 CP's the exp boost should definitely mean I finally get to 531... just so long as it doesn't get increased any time soon, say to 561, I can enjoy being a max level player ;-)

Took long enough to get an answer. Also not surprised that after you purchase something (and use up the couple stones that come with) that you need to buy more things (stones) to keep using it.

Oh, or take a gamble and decon stuff.

I think the PCs with 1 tam will have an advantage, any bosses drop it, but IIRC you only get goods from killing a boss "on level" so one tam'll proably spread people out more

@BrianDavion Depends on how Zos set it up. Things like crafting materials could drop from any mob (not just at level).
