Forum Restructure & Category Changes

Hi guys!

We recently made a few changes to the ESO forums that we’d like to call to your attention.

• We renamed Questing & Exploration to Solo & Group PvE, and consolidated many of the former sub-categories to account for One Tamriel. Now, you’ll find that there’s a section for general PvE (Questing & Exploration) and Dungeons, Trials & Arenas.
• We added a sub-category in the PvP category for Dueling.
• We relocated the Public Test Server (PTS) sub-category from Community to General.
• We added a sub-category in the new Solo & Group PvE section titled Looking for Group, which will allow you to find other players to help you with a task in-game.
• We added a sub-category in General for Bug Reports. There’s a sticky within that category explaining what this new section is for and how we’d like you to use it, but in general, we’ll be moving all ESO bug reports to this one section.

We hope this helps you better navigate the forums, and let us know if you have any questions or suggestions on how to further improve the site!

That is a superb idea, especially since many people are too shy to join a guild or go shouting in zone chat. Kudos!

Just to check - has the new "Questing & Exploration" category consolidated all six categories of "Main Quest", "AD", "DC", "EP", "NPC Guilds", and "Other Locales"? That seems to be what's happened, but since those were my primary area of expertise I just want to be sure where they've gone Thanks!

This is correct, the PvE section was largely consolidated to that one forum. While the alliance sections maintained a good level of activity, the others didn't, so this will hopefully give PvE discussion some better critical mass.

The originally intention of this section was to discuss content, but as many people used it to find groups we decided to break that off into its own separate space.

The forum for Trials and Group dungeons was kept separate, and its been expanded to include discussion of PvE Arenas as well.

Why have all those different categories? Everyone (ok... the majority) just look through general discussion. Other categories are just a place for threads to be moved and die, it seems.

In your new category, of the 19 posts, 8 of them have zero responses from anyone. Those that did were from people recommending the OP to the guild recruitment tab so they can join a guild. Working as intended?
