Imperial Prison damage scaling seems off

I just tried the 1st boss a few times with a group and our tank literally got 2 shotted by him flailing his arm - which hasn't happened yesterday during my 2 runs in there.

From the patch notes:
Monsters in Normal versions of dungeons have had their health increased to the correct levels.

Did the hp-increase come with a damage increase or not?

I was soloing yesterday pledges (EH2 and Volenfall) on normal and everything seemed to be hitting a lot harder. Several of the bosses in EH2 were one shotting me in regular hits which didn't happen when I soloed it last week on my Stam Sorc. Even some of the trash pulls were very difficult to survive.

I assumed it was just my bad luck or faulty memory but now I'm wondering if something has changed this patch (besides the increased HP of mobs in normal dungeons which I didn't seem to notice much difference).

On those boss tries the tank reported getting hit for 13,8k each while blocking the flailing arms of the 1st boss.

FYI, in vet mode ICP - didn't really notice if the first boss (fiend) had been buffed, he has ALWAYS been able to pretty much one-shot squishy folks, and seemed more or less the same. However, later bosses have DEFINITELY been buffed significantly, especially the Lord Warden's Council (3 times more health than before). I should try normal instead, vet mode is no fun anymore.

Yah, that is exactly what I was getting hit with except it was a double hit. So two normal hits for 12-13k each equals one dead Templar. Instead of sweeping him to death I just fought him at range which was a lot slower but much safer. His double-hit is not telegraphed with the usual red cone and happens very fast.

Only difference in ICP that I really noticed was the pull before the last boss has a lot more health. Fight took exactly 3 minutes, so really, it just takes longer. Nothing is any harder from what I can tell. No new one shot mechanics or anything like that. If anything, its generally a little easier with 30 more CP to spend.

So I just did Vaults of Madness in both Normal and Veteran (love that dungeon) to see the difference, if any, since the last patch:
    • Trash Mobs have around 32% more HP in Veteran
    • Tough trash mobs have 100-120% more HP
    • Bosses have 100-150% more HP
    • Last Boss has 300% more HP (4703K vs 1188k)

As for damage there actually didn't seem to be much difference in damage from the boss attacks. Normal was definitely easier but likely due to things just dying faster. For example, on the Cursed One (Ghost before the bridge) I died on both Vet and Normal mode to his draining attack. Damage from Iskra (second last boss, Titan) also seemed almost the same.

I'll have to pay more attention next time to specific damages to see how they compare in vet and normal. I would have expected normal mode to have noticeably less damage thant vet but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I think we were referencing the boss in normal Elden Hollow II. The one that comes from the portal before the Atronach boss. His double attack was hitting me for 24-26k in normal mode and it couldn't be blocked. Had to roll dodge or go out of range. Perhaps he's missing the red cone indicator for this attack. I did vet and normal EH II yesterday and didn't notice this attack occurring, though that could well be my memory rather than a new mechanic or increased damage.
