@acw37162 someone in Reddit did the testing on hundred of Crown Crates opening. Apparently the top rewards drop chance is around 1%. So give or take it's going to cost you 40000 Crowns to get one of those Strom Atronachs mount.

Now that is just bloody ridiculous. The chance should be minimum 10%

I'm not going to argue with anyone who took the time to do the math but it's only been in test for four days they give you 5500 crowns a day, any sample size at this point is ridiculously small and an extrapolation.

I got a camel mount in my first 5500 on day one but of course I hate camel mounts.

And is is ridiculous; this is the marketing team pitching an idea and getting the bosses support. When I say this is complete BS it is complete BS. They can put all the shiny new *** in the boxes they want, acts like this are for a free to play barely scratching out living game, we have been told repeatedly how good this game doing and the marketing team obviously wants to make full well they exploit the market while they can

These boxes are equal parts greed, behavioral sicence, and a straight cash grab all at once. All you have to do is look at the polish on these mounts compared to say the Breton Hero Costume.

I really wish I didn't care but I do, I absolutely hate this in any form in any variety. They could clean the boxes up, increase mount drop on mounts to 50 %, give you God scrolls, potions on nigh invincibility, guranteee me a Dragon polymorph and once I empty my Current stash of crowns out I won't spend another dollar here and I'll be unsubbing.

I'm what the marketing people refer to either as an over embellishment or acceptable loss because they are going to make a metric *** ton of money off people chasing those mounts.

words marked, ive been around since the birth of the mmorpg genre and ive seen many sinking ships, all shot by themselves in their own foot, self inflicted wound, they think in the short term it will benefit only to realize when it is to late that it isnt their own finger on the trigger its someone elses, devs scurry for cover fans duck and weave but the faceless moneymen have control its to late... Years pass...

Mmorpg apocalypse has devistated the genre, but afew mmo's are holding out, its okay we might survive, indy groups are banding together to try to beat back the corporates,, we havnt given up yet!...
