I married my rl bf in the game, now I want a divorce. Is that possible? Is it possible to use the ring again for a different toon on the same acct? This sounds worse than I expected...

✭One can not reuse Rings of Mara, however one can get a new one for the next marriage. I am keeping my Rings of Mara as a reminder of people I knew in game for different reasons now left. They have great value to me for personal reasons.6 -

✭✭✭One day I was leveling a new character. I was kind of bored grinding and needed something to entertain me. So evil me gets in zone chat and said "Anyone want to marry me for xp?".
That was a big mistake, but I'm still not married

✭You can actually marry multiple people in game. There was a time when the buff from both rings would work if you were in a group of three, and each person had married the other two.
Vandstyle, @Cormore and I were 3-way married on VR1 ish toons when we went to grind up to VR16. Every little bit helped at the time...
My real-life wife @Lightingale laughed her rear-end off!
