I also wouldn't mind a place in Glenumbra but I'm really not fond of Breton housing style. I'd be much more interested in one of the circular hag houses. Or maybe one of the many abandoned towers or lighthouses. Wishful thinking, but I hope they consider homes that are more of a hideout than a large family home.
I like that actually, something like 'claim yer own bandit cave" Hopefully something like OBLIVION's "VILE LAIR" will become available.
What do you do in a guild hall?

This too has bugged me. I swore they would be for players, but from the "data-mined" info on Player Housing, they are not included... Hmmmmm..Strange... Strange indeed.....

the kin party
Khajiit also recalls though that there were many ways there to make a party. Fireworks, a music system. A party is more than just standing in the kin house all at the same time yes. There must be entertainments!

It's one of the best places in Rivenspire in terms of "good looks" for a zone that is inherently described as threathening on the lore tips.
I also love Rivenspire for it's main quest and very good scenary. Also the doomcrag seen from afar (+ the ambient sound fx) is one of the most memorable locations in the whole game.

Here's the house in Fell's Run. You have a lovely view of the stocks for your front yard for entertainment, and a high security wall around your back yard to keep your servants from escaping.

Now I am picturing a scene at the bank.
"I would like to take out a loan....to...buy a house...."
"Would you like to apply for a mortgage?...How expensive is this house?"
"It will also legally belong to the bank until you have completed the repayments. If you fail to keep up with the repayments the bank reserves the right to re-possess it. Where is this house buy the way?"
"Well it is kind of a small castle, outside Daggerfall in Glenumbra."
"I haven't heard of Daggerfall or Glenumbra, is that up north somewhere?"

Just when I feel about ready to give up on trying inject humour into the forums. Usually my attempts at humour just get ignored.
On topic, the sad thing is that I am really struggling with deciding where I would want to live. I think given most of my earliest game memories are around Daggerfall it still feels like home going back. However there are far more exotic locations. Eldenroot is impressive to visit but a Bosmer home would feel quite alien. The Breton building style feels the most relatable though Altmer buildings are more beautiful. I don't fancy an Argonian mud hut style building. I don't have grievances with the people but their buildings seem primitive. Then the dark elves, ornate like high elves but...um...darker style? Not really into Nord style particularly. I like the Imperial buildings that have a sense of Renaissance sophistication about them. I would consider those buildings attractive to rival high elven structures.
The trouble is, Imperial settlements are in zones I don't see having player housing. I didn't see any player housing in DLC. It would be problematic to have any player housing in Cyrodiil. Though it could be funny in some ways: "I got a great deal on this place. It is really beautiful architecture and you get used to the noise of the war campaign going on outside."
