It is fun. A well placed chunk of meat can be very gratifying. And it does take strategy and skill to follow and hit the moving herds with it en masse. So those of you griping about it just stop being so snooty. Kthnx.

Can we bring back the lol button just for this thread? Please ZOS?

    Did it ever exist?

 omg that'd be so very appropriate

I have a weird sense of humour, the layers keep on stacking I oftn lose count ...but in truth I love all animals (humans too sometimes) and abhor any form of violence.

    Siege is cancer.

+1 for well placed chunks of meat tho

Isn't cancer a well placed chunk of meat, though?

Using siege in an open field fight isn't just point and click.

    But it is, though.

    You again.

So what if it is point and click? So are most skills. Siege requires perfectly timed aim, which does require some skill. Right?

Incorrect, seige is easy to aim, even at a mobile group and requires no knowledge of game mechanics or skill

At least you have to place seige down first; class/weapon abilities can be spammed in any situation. Not to mention your healing auto targets lowest health friendly (even easier if you use vigor and it automatically heals you 100% of the time).

Some of you don't like that you choke on J's meat constantly lol.

Siege should only be allowed within shooting distance of a keep wall. Pulling siege out of your pocket inbetween keeps so that you can compete in PvP is ***. L2P, stop being a scrubtard, and go fight...keep ur meatbag in your pocket sickos.

Siege weapons are some of the funnest things about ESO pvp. Nothing like propping up a Cold Fire wearing a full set of Vicious Death for the DC Zergs running around Azura these days. Kind of reminds me of this....

Ok I don't want to contribute to involuntary meatbag culture. I'm going to seek consent before exploding my massive hot ballista bolt on the "battlefield"

Is this a thing? I got a gripe with people who don't use seige. I go through 50 stone trebs in a weekend, and at least 5 camps.

OP is talking about setting down siege in the middle of a fight with the sole intent of hitting a player. At least, as far as I can tell. I've never heard a person complain that someone was hitting a wall with siege. The cheesy thing is to set down a siege line in the middle of like, an open field. Sure, it can be fun to hit people like that, but it kind of speaks to your ability to use your class/weapon skills when your first thought in the middle of a fight is to be a point-and-click hero.

Disagree completely. L2P. Its in the game for a reason. The raids that are good can handle it anytime.

I don't care if it's strategy or not. If it's effective, I do it. Gotta get that AP and win the fight. If that makes me a dirty player so be it.

When it happens to me, I don't mind. Seeing Fire Ballista on my Death Recap just means I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I'm still having the problem where I don't always see the siege circle before getting hit with it. There was some mention the other night in TS that there is an exploit that will do this. Has anyone else heard of this?

@ataggs that also happens when firing siege. There's been times lately where you have no aiming reticle on siege and have to guess where it's going to hit. I wouldn't say it's an exploit yet, more like a glitch in the siege mechanics. When you hop off it and back on, it usually clears things up at least from the firing side of things.

If the enemy in an open field begins a zergtrain to try and wipe us out, then yes I will drop siege.

My biggest problem is that sometimes it's hard to find a place to set it down. Also, when I have it out, if I want to turn around I have to do it really slowly.
