thats the thing i have come to learn especially in this patch. I play my DK now how it should have really been played all long. I have volatile armour + engulfing instead of wings+burning embers. why? because it has finally clicked that firstly cyrodiil = 1vX regardless wherever you go and second, aoe is what mDK excels at. Hence why i nearly drain my resources after every banner spamming inhale and talons because thats where i can do the most dmg. If i dont kill enough in that initial "burst" i will lose that 1vX because i will be forced into living between bats against too many players. Enclosed spaces just limit the distance sorcs, templars and NBs can range me from so i have a better chance to fight.

I might be taking a break from it with the new patch but im still not certain. It really just depends on how much harder stam is hitting/how hard they are to kill. Right now they are border impossible with some people so i can only imagine with all these new stam sets coming in

Wouldn't blame ya Vyr Cor if you went stamDK. I have been thinking it myself and dusting off my crafter and trying him out. Love my magDK and all but this next update might be just too one sided and in favor of stamina.

What do you think of burning spell weave over sun?

600 or 650 or whatever it is without major sorcery for 8s with a 12s cooldown.

It's it'll likely proc on cooldown because it's 20% chance to proc off any fire dmg. Plus it'll increase bats damage and such.

not 100% sure. I never like RNG things with dmg. 4 sec gap in the cooldown. 200 extra spell dmg is nice but not sure.

Heavy stam meta, but some new sets for mag dk should be interesting
