The game is as balanced as it ever has been. All four classes, and their stamina and magicka variants, are viable in PvP. It's just that some people don't have the courage to play a non-meta build, nor the skills to still be good at it.

That's good to know. Maybe this weekend my high elf Magica Sorc is gong to dust off his Light armor and Inferno staff. He'll be heavy attacking with the staff while his two pets sweep over the enemies. O.oThe game is as balanced as it ever has been. Nice Pact Militia Guild photo . Look they spread and divided into two raids .

I've honestly found vma to have less RNG involved than pvp lately .LeifErickson wrote: »ESO right now is 90% gear, 10% skill.
I've been doing everything I can not to run Black Rose, Viper, Veli, red mountain, etc because its so cheesy, but I'm getting tired of getting killed by scrubs who suddenly can nearly 1 shot me because of gear procs, can't decide between going cancerplar or running all those trash sets.

Poison round: the number of times the new flowers spawn directly under my safe minder bubble is disturbing.LeifErickson wrote: »Stoopid_Nwah wrote: »I've honestly found vma to have less RNG involved than pvp lately .LeifErickson wrote: »ESO right now is 90% gear, 10% skill.

There isn't any RNG in vma that, if you know the mechanics, should affect a flawless run.

Inferno round: the pyromages tend to not be where it appears they are. So when I go to bash interrupt nothing happens and that dot keeps ticking away. In about five seconds they rubber band back to where they apparently were.
Bug for sure in regards to the inferno round, but it still gives some wicked RNG in terms of if I'll be able to heal through enough. And it's seriously just as easy of a fix for the minder bubbles to just cleanse poison. It does not happen often, but when it does, it tends to be when I have just killed the closest minder so I can book it over to the ranged one. And at that time I tend to get a poison that explodes, so I avoid it while getting in my bubble because the argonian will have started his tantrum, and then I watch helplessly as a new spore pops up right under my feet. Feels pretty RNGish to me.LeifErickson wrote: »Stoopid_Nwah wrote: »Poison round: the number of times the new flowers spawn directly under my safe minder bubble is disturbing.LeifErickson wrote: »Stoopid_Nwah wrote: »I've honestly found vma to have less RNG involved than pvp lately .LeifErickson wrote: »ESO right now is 90% gear, 10% skill.

The thing about what you said about the inferno round is it sounds like it is a bug so that is more of unintended RNG and I would not count that. As for the poison round, there are workarounds to prevent that from happening. Kill the minder that is not under a bubble and kill the argonian that spawns them before killing either of the other 2 minders so none can spawn under you.

I wish players would broaden their horizons and play non cancerous builds, but honestly if ZoS wouldn't make stupid gear decisions all the time, maybe players wouldn't feel forced into these sort of builds. idk.

I've played numerous non "standard" build combos, and every one of them dies to the FOTM builds ZoS introduced. If I try a Pelinial's hybrid templar I will still die to the FOTM stamplar 80% of the time. If I try and run an akatosh magplar I will die 90% of the time to every FOTM stam build because lvl 49 armor is crap.
There isn't build diversity in this game. You have stam with the same skill rotation or you have mag with the same skill rotation, and 7/10 stam will outplay the mag rotations.
I think there should be a hard look on how stam can heal. If you can stack healing on a stam char that is comparable to a mag char (excluding magplar) then there is an issue. How can someone beat their chest/flex and be able to outheal a meteor falling from the sky. No matter how silly it sounds, it doesn't make sense.
I don't have anything against stam builds. I can usually handle 1v1 or 1v2 stam situations, but when 2 stam players can stack the healing/dodge chance that they can AND output the damage that is available, something is wrong.

A friend of mine was trying to get me to roll a magicka templar because he is tired of all the op stamina builds and playing the not as strong magicka non templar classes (this friend being the OP). If we both duo magicka templared together, we both felt it wouldn't be untrue that we could potentially 2v16 on the reg.

Yeah it's pretty disgusting tbh. It's also pretty easy to tell that well over half of them who run the typical vipers+veli are complete scrubs...when their sets aren't proccing they run around in circles just light attacking . Then when they realize their health is dropping, they panic hard and just start sprinting away. Its super lame to be beating pugs then two of them get veli procs right on top of you(I play mostly melee builds) and suddenly you're roasted with no chance to react.
