Titles for Crafters

Our adventurers all get nice titles for their achievements but how about our hard working crafters? Don't they deserve titles?

it would be great for the next update to have actual shops for crafters, i mean locations where established crafters can sell their armour- at auction or set rates-
maybe crafters who purchase a store can have a discount on materials but have to produce a certain amount- to be a full time shoppe. but then have actual signatures on items - either motifs or tabards on armour and hilts on swords that could identify brands. a crafter can dream i guess. it would just be cool to see ones sword- a be swung around tamriel by others.

While I'd like to see that as well, I'd say it is way more important to ensure that crafting (i.e. clothing, blacksmithing, woodworking) does not become obsolete with all the new BoE and BoP sets around.
Introduce a way for crafters to at least change styles of items and introduce new high-trait sets and if a crafter is able to do all of those, offer an appropriate title to go along with it.

I'd love to see some recognition for crafters. Becoming a master crafter is the forgotten achievement really.

optional titles yes

achieving level 50 on a craft gives you a title. alchemist, chef, woodworker, clothier, blacksmith, enchanter

achieving level 50 on all crafts gives you jack of all trades

achieving level 50 on all crafts & having all 9 traits researched master crafter

I think this is a great idea and am surprised that it isn't already a thing. In any game I can I am always an avid crafter. That being said I would never wear one of the titles.

I wouldn't display any 'crafter' titles either. I already get enough randoms asking for armour.
However I do think it would be a neat idea for those who did wish to wear such titles.

titles are achieved for completing various in game achievments, the easiest to achieve is done by entering cyrodil, talking 2 1 person and you receive the recruit title & a skill point.

you can apply titles from your character sheet page,

My Orsimer would wear a 'blacksmith' title with pride, honour and no small amount of satisfaction.

When you press C and look at the character page, you can see the titles you can choose, more and different titles are available depending what you have done. If you look at the achievements and there is a chest icon on it, it often gives a title or item and/or a dye as reward.

When you press C and look at the character page, you can see the titles you can choose, more and different titles are available depending what you have done. If you look at the achievements and there is a chest icon on it, it often gives a title or item and/or a dye as reward.

Ive looked on my charater page, drop down menu and zero titles to choose. However, I have had a few achievements gained but wasn't aware I had a reward to unlock for them. I was wondering why I hadn't been unlocking more dyes too.

So I have to go to achievements page and actually unlock a reward?

No it unlocks as soon you have the achievement. But not all achievements give titles or dyes or items.

@Suter1972 Completing all the quests associated with an alliance gets you a Hero title, completing Dragonstar Arena with a group gets you a Champion title, completing the Mages and Fighters guilds questlines gets you titles. Ect.

oh and give us some extra "crafter only" dyes...only fair if you can get them for doing Trials or PvP

it also might mean people actually start offering to pay you something when you craft for them

Would be nice when we have crafters only dye, that we could dye the armor of our customers without that it bounds to us.

@Darkheart yes that would be superb and could be taken even further. if armour could be trademarked in some way. You would see a set of armour in the game and 'hey is that the famous Darkheart crafter armour'?

good crafters would become sought after and earn a reputation in the game, giving noobs like me something to aim for

conditions:
- get alchemist lvl50
- get chef lvl50
- get woodworker lvl50
- get clothier lvl50
- get blacksmithlvl50
- get enchanter lvl50

I have a character like that and he got all traits researched from all items and (currently) have all crafting motifs.

Many people have all crafting types mastered for ages like myself. We been hoping for titles long time. We do hope they will add crafting titles at some point and Jewelry making. I just hope it is not after I am dead lol

Haberdasher. All skills maxed and all traits researched. Worth 50 points. That's a lot of research.

Master haberdasher. Haberdasher with all dyes and all motifs that drop in the base non-dlc game. Worth 150 points. That's a lot LOT of effort to get all dyes. Comes with an appearance trinket, a yellow cloth tape measure drapes over the shoulders.

Probably mentioned before but:
"the Blacksmith" for fulfilling Blacksmithing
Woodwork could simply be "the Woodsman"
"Master Chef" for Cooking
"the Tailor" for clothing
"the Arcanist" for Enchanting
"Herbalist" for Alchemy

I think similar to runescape we should get a emote for getting max level in any crafting skill e.g. a black smithing emote,alchemist,enchanter,etc & one when getting 50 in all crafting skills.
