What would you change?

I'd change RNG, because it's something that causes the death of games. While it's often used as a means of keeping playing, it's also a means for customers to stop playing. While also spreading negative feedback of the game. It's just something I wish game developers as a whole would move away from. ._.

RNG is almost necessary for long lasting games. As much as you might not like it, it keeps players playing for longer. Even if they quit due to disliking the system so much, 1,000 new players will join and accept it as it is.

However I agree they could have done it a better way. Token systems, removing absolute junk combinations of items (Bow of Destruction mastery, I'm looking at you...)

RNG can be our friend and enemy at the same time. Let's just hope they keep making more improvements to it.

I would add a simple toggle to allow overpowered players to make the game more difficult for them in exchange for a small bionic to themselves and their group.

Something like a "Heroic Badge Bonus," turn on the Bronze Badge to lower all your stats by 35% for a 5% increase for yourself and your group to gold, experience, rare drops, etc

Silver Badge, 60% for 10% increase

Gold Badge, 85% for 15% increase

This would still make you valuable in a party with your friends, while being able to reign in the ridiculous overpoweredness that trivializes content.

I'd make this change with One Tamriel, bexcuse the new direction is supposed to be flexibility and flat world, and player imbalances in PvE, with so many players just so overpowered for so much content, is the glaring last piece of the puzzle. (I'm just going to completely ignore Pvp imbalance because that requires much more than a single tweak to fix)

I'm not sure this counts as one thing but I'd change the way joining an Alliance works, and how it ties into the main story. You wouldn't choose an alliance at character creation and all new characters would start in the same place, where the storyline would introduce you to all 3 alliances. Then at level 10 you would have the option to choose an alliance to join.

You'd have to join one to go to Cyrodiil and fight, and which one you join would affect how the main story progressed, but there would also be an option to not join any of them. That 4th choice may or may not allow you into Cyrodiil, but you couldn't actually participate in the alliance war if you did go there. (If it locked you out of the map there might need to be a way to change your choice later on.)

Actually make an RNG algorithm that pays off for people that farm for months instead of rewarding others instantly.

I'd make riding skill account wide or make speed start at 30 on new characters. Fresh toons in PVP are painful to play without a month of prep beforehand.

When you first log into the game, you choose a permanent faction. Cross faction PvPrs ruin the game and is against all Tamriel Lore.

I would fix the group finder, also adding a "looking for trial" option. I know I will receive negative feedback, I don't mind, I work in weird schedules and I have not been able to run a single trial because of that. And I really want to.

Ye and or...if they are coded with script that is inflammatory and unbecoming for an untouchable authority figure that doesnt need to come from fear based behaviour....then they ...are...gonezo ...

and sure...give them a one red difficult /challenging but not 2 reds.
and if you kill them...your bounty goes to 5k to help make guard killing something to think twice about.

But they ought to be takable.
