Hi guys,

I did not try out the PTS yes, but I was just wondering how are the Dungeon I and Dungeon II going to work. Could someone explain this to me?

This is the quote from the PTS Patch Notes:

Dungeons
There are lots of changes for Dungeons with this update! Read on to see what adventure awaits for those wanting to delve into the darkest reaches of Nirn and beyond.
All Dungeons now have both a Normal and Veteran modes.
Previous Dungeons which had a unique Veteran mode have been converted to Version I and II; each version now has a Normal and Veteran mode.
Example: Fungal Grotto will now be known as Fungal Grotto I and Fungal Grotto II.

Each Veteran dungeon now contains a Monster Mask and Shoulder set.
Monster Masks will drop 100% of the time from the final boss in Veteran mode.
Shoulder sets are acquired via Pledge keys (details are outlined in the next section below).
All Veteran versions of Dungeons have a way to activate a harder difficulty for the final boss, activated by the Scroll of Glorious Battle found in the final boss’ room.

Undaunted Pledges
We have redesigned the Pledge system to offer more rewards more often, and at a predictable rate.
There is no longer a Bronze, Silver and Gold key. All keys have been converted Undaunted Keys and reward a Shoulder set piece with each use.
There are now three pledge givers for Undaunted Dungeon quests, with each offering a unique Pledge each day. They also have a corresponding chest which, when an Undaunted Key is used, will offer a Shoulder set piece from one of the Dungeon Pledges they offer.
Maj al-Ragath offers a random Pledge for the following Dungeons:
Banished Cells I & II
Darkshade Caverns I & II
Elden Hollow I & II
Fungal Grotto I & II
Spindleclutch I & II
Wayrest Sewers I & II

are we going to have 2 normal modes and 2 veteran modes, or how will it work?? it seems pretty confusing in the patch notes...

Actually, you have Spindeclutch normal (the one against the whisperer and her spiders), then Spindle veteran (where you fight the vampires).

One One Tamriel will be here, you'll have two distinct dungeons : Spindle I against the whisperer and her spiders, and Spindle II against the vampires : two dungeons with two separate stories. And both can be done in normal mode or in vet mode, like all dlc dungeon (the vet one is the same dungeon with an increased difficulty).
That's just a way to separate these stories in order to be able to try both in normal or vet mode.

Banished Cells, Darkshade Caverns, Elden Hollow, Fungal Grotto, Spindlecluth, Wryest Sewers, City of Ash and Crypt of Hearts have a different storyline from it's Normal Mode. Therefore, these dungeons will have a Version I (current Normal mode on Live) and Version II (current Veteran mode on Live). Each of these versions will have Normal and Veteran mode, therefore each of these dungeons mentioned will have 2 Normal pledges Modes (Version I and Version II) and 2 Veteran pledges (Version I and Version II).

    As an Example:
    Banished Cells
Version I (on PTS) = Normal Mode (on Live). This Version will have normal and veteran mode on Update 12
Version II (on PTS) = Veteran Mode (on Live). This version will have normal and veteran mode on Update 12

    Volenfell
Only one version. This version will have a normal and veteran mode on Update 12

The other dungeons will not have versions and will just have Normal mode and Veteran mode.

that sounds interesting, and do we know how will I be able to choose between let`s say Spindle normal I and Spindle normal II? Or is it going to be like every day is going to be a different dungeon like before?

and I hope that by the time it hits the Live server, the versions I and II will have some unique names, not just I and II

When you physically enter the dungeon via the door, it will prompt you whether you want to go to Version I or Version II. I haven't checked yet when wayshrining - it may prompt you in a similar way before porting

The daily can be the version I or the version II, like it can be Vault of Madness or Volenfell, it'll be two different dungeons for Pledge too.
I don't know how do you choose the version when you go into the dungeon yet, I haven't tested the PTS for now (I wait for the EU copy).

It does... When you select the dungeon you want to travel to on the map (either via wayshrine, or quick travel without wayshrine) it gives you to options to 'recall' to, I and II

They most likely keep the name the same. Also it would be easier when looking for group in the chat box. For example I need a healer for COH I, 2 DPS for FG II, or tank for BH I

Fungal grotto normal = Fungal grotto 1
Fungal grotto veteran = Fungal grotto 2

Because both dungeons scales to your lvl ( both are veteran in that case) it doesnt make sense to call one version normal and another veteran..

    Really depressing.

I was hoping for more story. More depth.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

I wish ZOS would add real "veteran" story modes to the formerly (currently) normal dungeons which don't have now (e.g. Volenfell etc.)

In the patch notes, and on the Pax West streams @ZOS_GinaBruno, I think they could have made the confusion a lot clearer by using the term "Story Version I and Story Version II", then state both Story Versions have a normal and veteran content.

Think of it in movie terms.

We have Ghostbusters 1 and Ghostbusters 2

Ghostbusters 1 deals with the origin and defeat of Gozer

Ghostbusters 2 deals with the teams return to prominence and the defeat of Vigo the Carpathian

Each movie has a standard and high def version.

This appears to be not working on live. When I click Banished Cells on the map it only asks if I want to port to Banished Cells I. I do not get that option list at any point.

EDIT: Nevermind. You have to physically walk up to the door once to unlock both ports.
