One Tamriel & Overland Sets Farming

I am bit worried, how ZOS will be handling set farming? Atleast they are unable to stop motif farming in Gold Coast.

Everytime i go there, lot of same faces are killing bosses for motif not letting others to get hands on. Always have to wait to get boss.

How strong world bosses will be in Zones? Will they be stronger as Orisunium world bosses? I think they need to be twice as stronger as Orisunium because now its one Tamerial and we may see a crowded world..

How frequent will they drop jewelery?

    Expect World Bosses all over to be as challenging as DLC World Bosses. Also the patch notes stated you only need to do 3% damage on enemies now to get loot credit, so there shouldn't be any issues with farmers keeping others from getting loot now. As for Jewelry, it was stated that will come from Dolmen Chests.

    From what I'm seeing so far,all the good set pc drops will be camped,it's gonna be like afk botting from beta. No bueno.

    World bosses I have seen on the pts are around 1.6 mill health, my tank kinda of dude killed one by himself but took a while to do lol

    If can be solo then its not gonna be good, we can not stop grinders..

    World bosses should be group contents like Orisnium and should not be solo (especially zones like East March , Reapers March, Rift etc..

    Its not better for ESO economy as well, i can see with time, sets will be sellig at every trader

    apart from the increased health, they have changed the phys/spell resistances of a lot of mobs so some of them will take longer to kill (including the adds)

    it might be that the next "meta" will be to stack up on penetration/resistance stripping, rather than crit or weap/spell dmg

    anyway as I read from the patch notes, you cannot get all pieces from one location/boss, you will also need to do the public dungeons and dolmens (I think jewellery from these)

    but it appears that for all their "soloable" content, they are actually making this game more "group up" and lots of endless repeating dailies

    what we really need is more new full zones like Wrothgar (the only one we have had so far) and not the rubbish that was DB / TG

    So in other words, the sharpened trait is even more so useful then than it is now. I'll keep that in mind for sure. Also, I don't think it's bad actually. I like the idea of not having to link-up with 12 others, just to get a shot at sets.

    World bosses definitely tougher. Soloing is not easy but might be doable with right build. I think patach notes ssid they were scaled to four man groups.

    Used to be i could solo gold zone world bossewith few headaches. Yesterday i fed the bear in western glenumbra. Gotta try that one again.

    Proudly skooma free while talks-when-drunk is in mandatory public housing.

    All they are doing is making old content relevant and useful. No more just moving on to a new area because it a new. It is nice to know that all of the content can useful instead of 1 - 50 fodder. To be honest, I like Wrothgar it was big, open and beautiful but I prefer the theives guild and dark brotherhood zones because of style and ambience. After awhile Wrothgar just felt like too much space and felt like It was trying to be big.

    I just hope all zones become 'kinda' busy rather than EVERYONE staying in their old routines of hanging out in the same 3/4 towns causing lag & crashing! while the rest of the world is over run by tumbleweeds!

    I just hope all zones become 'kinda' busy rather than EVERYONE staying in their old routines of hanging out in the same 3/4 towns causing lag & crashing! while the rest of the world is over run by tumbleweeds!

    as we will no longer be instanced to the 3 different factions I fear the lag will just get worse across the whole of Tamriel...you know how it is in Cyrodiil...well they are bringing that same "feature" to the PvE zones

    The increase in lag will be negligible since they'll be likely introducing phasing.

    Also the lag in Cyrodiil comes from calculating a *** ton of collision physics, same reason you get lag in certain dungeon or trial areas. In towns with lots of people, it'll just be loading times that'll cause problems. With a good enough gfx card or lower settings that won't be a problem.

    Farming wise though, with a proper setup most world bosses can be soloed or duoed but one the new meta is found there'll be a lot more farming in the particular zones that drop those set items, something along the lines of the old Craglorn grind of 1.5 for those who remember it.

    With the damage contribution change and battle leveling, hopefully the players camping world bosses and dungeon bosses won't impact questers too much.

    I got a chance to see that when half the dominion was stuck in MT trying to save the silvenar. If you logged out and back in you'd be in a new instance. I never saw more than 2 open though.

    Personally I feel overland sets are a poor idea, itemization across the board in this game is the worst implementation aside from launch AOC

    I actually like the idea of sets tied to specific zones.

    However, I don't like them being farmable in a grindy fashion.
    I mean come on... how does waiting for a dolmen/boss respawn count as playing the game?
    Sure, dolmens, world bosses and delve bosses could drop set pieces, but make it rare, don't make them drop 100% of the time.

    Instead, tie the 100% set reward to the Fighters Guild, Mages Guild and Undaunted delve dailies.
    The same dailies that have absolutely no worthwhile reward tied to them, yet they send players to do... you guessed it:
    delves, dolmens etc.

    They should take their best DLC - Orsinium and learn a thing or two from it.

    The group bosses are significantly more difficult, but the right player with the right build can still solo them. But that'll always be the case. If they want to make a group boss that literally can't be soloed by anybody, it'd also be too difficult for most four man groups (which they are balanced around) to defeat.
