until when can you signup? tbh i hate those ban-everythng relevant in open-world duels and lately i've only played on azura's so i'm far from comfortable and thus I don't want to commit my weekend, but a few fights may be fun if i'm at home anyway...

It´s a 100% dependence on mistakes of the nightblade if you want to fight that as magica ranged which is never good to begin with imo.

One of the important aspects of a duel is to pressure your opponent,or force your opponent to make a mistake, and punish that mistake. I'm not sure if I understood you right, though.

We don't have a deadline atm.We are making the brackets as people sign up, so its not much hazzle for us if people decide to sign up on Saturday morning.Although,unofficially,I don't want any applications after 17.00 CET, 17th of Sept.

You're already halfway to a naked fistfight anyway, might as well step over the arbitrary banning of gear and items while getting naked and starting the brawl.

Abusive(Excessive) Cloaking is NOT allowed. Excessive being, cloak-one attack-cloak-one-attack-cloak-one-attack, and stay in Cloak for more than 4 seconds at a time(does not include attacking once and then 4 seconds into cloak again..). You realise that we´re talking ranged char vs NB without the use of detect potions?

I´ve played my NB (edit: s - as i have two...) and sorc enough to know that a sorc will not kill me ever if i don´t *** up tremendously (something along the lines of jumping into 2+ mines while having curse and finisher applied).

skill change = ban, isnt it?
it doesnt matter if one doesnt use a skill or not.
he could have used mark against a nb, and he would have used lotus against a sorc as he said himself.

clearly a violation, doesnt matter who does do it.

But that´s the problem. If the ruleset doesn´t allow to use the counter needed it´s hard to make a "fun" build. :P

If you see only one way to counter a skill, yes it will be hard to have fun for you.
And no, i wont make a list of counters, explore more, dont automatic go for most op secure builds i day again, gn

I'm not sure if you are talking about magicka or stam NB but if stam, then I would argue the sorc is favored to win. Unless the stamblade is wearing heavy, or viper or veli, or something bogus like increased cost poisons, the only way the sorc will lose is if he forgets to reapply wards or gets one shot. I play both stamblade and magicka sorc.

I'm curious.. What exactly will change neat patch which could possibly make it worse? Didn't follow a lot lately and can't find something about it.
