✭✭✭✭✭Also lol @ me at the time being a medium armor bowblade magicka build because of lethal arrow poison damage scaling off of magicka and weapon damage.
Lethal arrow heal debuff stacking ftw, amirite? For all the bugs, the game was so much better back then.
Look at the differences you can see just in the screenshot.
No champion system
No dyes, we all had blue armor highlights at max level (voidsteel, voidcloth, shadowhide)
No Monster sets
Old school horses that were faster than the others if you paid for them
Soft caps
Vet ranks did not grant attribute points, only skillpoints and armor grade unlocks
Damage scaling that made more sense
Hybrid builds were actually a thing (it went beyond lethal arrow builds, way beyond)

This was recorded a few weeks after the game launch, I was proud at the time to be amongst the first to be able to craft myself a hundings rage set in divines, there was no guild stores to make money off etc. Gathered everything from the world. I completed cadwells gold and silver to get to max rank vr10 within the first week which was very difficult on a stamina build. Stamina builds weren't even thought of when it came to balance - no heals, terrible sustain and like 3 second snipe cast time lmao. No one really had any guides or anything, so pretty much had to figure out everything yourself. ✭✭✭There was a lot bad and a lot good about the game in its early days. I'd prefer that they had kept to a subscriber model (Just like every game that has gone free to play). I miss certain elements of the original game that made sense. Health getting better multipliers, overcharging, etc. I do not miss seeing DK BAT Permanent-Ulti Talon-Whip Spammers in Shields and dresses. I don't miss magic being significantly better than stamina/warrior builds.
