No no no no no no no there is no heavy armor meta heavy armor is still very lack luster and still needs a few buffs. Those player who are disgracing heavy armor in PvP are just cheese players who are just magicka Templars or magicka DKs with Malubeths and reactive armor. They are not in any way actual HA users.

Never seen a forest troll. Maybe Forest troll, but never a forest troll.

The set moght be good. Still equates to 5% dmg increase so not gamr breaking.

Heavy Armor is 1 thing, but that's not all there is to a defensive build. Heck with Armor Master I have a DK capable of getting up to 38k resistances and STILL do decent damage! But what good is that going to do if half or more of it is ignorable? And then there's the 2h Ultimate.... I get that one, sort of, and I accept it because Magma Armor (when it works), but now anyone can just run 1p Kra'gh and 5p Spriggan or for Magicka 5p Spinner along with other sources of penetration and oh look at that more temptation from the Stamina side of the spectrum but anyway it's getting difficult for defensive-minded players to have confidence in being, well, DEFENSIVE. Figuratively speaking Heavy Armor might as well be made of tin at this point.

It's not about breaking the game, it's about the ongoing power creep.

Oh it is now ? Oh cause what I been seeing even at mitigation cap of 50% players are still able to hit with 10K lethal arrows so resistance mitigation isn't strong is HA strong in recovery ? Hmm even with golden black rose boosting constitution of 7 HA pieces you only recover 1932 stamina and magicka every 4 seconds which you have to be hit for it to work while MA and LA still has 2K+ plus recovery that works every 2 seconds and don;t have to be hit for it to work so recovery for HA is still weak. Did HA get some sorta of resource reduction cost cause Looking at the passive the only reduction skill that it had was removed and replaced with a horribly passive. Does HA have better DPS now than MA or LA ? Well wraith says increases damage by 20 up to 10 times but have to be hit for it to work and only last 6 seconds so best case you get 200 points for 6 seconds but MA passive flat boost to weapon damage by 12% is better cause it offer more damage and is a passive.

So HA still lacks in defense, recovery, resource management, and DPS so what makes HA ssssooo strong ? What makes it as you love to say a meta ? What you mean the cheese build of magicka tempalrs with malubeth and reactive armor ?

    A few corrections:

In a fight you're going to be getting hit repeatedly anyway, so the Constitution bonus requiring you to get hit for it to work is irrelevant. Consider it a permanent X/2 boost to magicka/stamina recovery.

Second, the damage bonus provided by wrath expires after 6 seconds of taking no damage. Once it stacks 10 times (200 bonus damage), it will stay active for as long as you keep getting hit within that timeframe.

The main problem I have been seeing in cyrodiil so far is people running cheese builds that are completell impenetrable (ie reactive, maulubeth, all heavy templars) so I am all for these sets being added. Either this or fix these cheese builds that ruin PvP.

What ruins PvP is ganking, hosted by the power creep and condoned by the meta. Defense levels the playing field, but it can only do so much.

Personally, I prefer light armor. It could use some love, like a percent bonus to spell power or even a bit more spell penetration. But I really haven't found it so lacking in mitigation as compared to heavy armor. Light armor resource management, the 10% crit, and the nearly 5k spell pen is still preferable. Would just like a bit more, to be honest. Spell power percent bonus or more spell pen.

Same here. It may take slightly longer to die and you may have more of a chance of recovering from a gank but the difference isn't enough IMO to bother with a standard non meta, non broken? heavy gear set.
2x is nice, no point missing out on the 5+ light bonuses though.
