NOT ABLE TO DOWNLOAD PTS

"Reliable source serving corrupt data". Please tell me there is a fix for this. Can I delete PTS folder?

Try adding an exception to your firewall and/or disabling the firewall when the download portion is close to finishing. It seems PTS downloads may be finicky with firewalls.

Same problem here. Tried adding exception to firewall, tried disabling it for a while and re opening the launcher. Still got stuck at the exact same spot with the same message. I'm just gonna leave it here and hope it works tomorrow.

I fixed this by running "repair" on my PTS files from the launcher.

I'm scared to do that. I always read about people being forced to re download the entire game when they try a repair. Guess I'll do it for the heck of it though since I'm about to go to bed.

I got something about unable to decompress patch manifest or something along those lines. It said to repair or restart the launcher. I restarted the launcher and it appears that it started completely over from 0%. I was just now sitting here watching it while reading the forums and out of nowhere, it looks like it may have started over at 0% AGAIN! It's 2016; patching should not be this difficult! I've also got it set to unlimited, but it only appears to be utilizing about 10-15% of my bandwidth.

Yeah I am getting very slow download speeds with the PTS launcher. Saw a few posts on reddit of other people getting slow speeds as well. I just clicked cancel on the launcher since it kept saying corrupt data, and now its running a repair. Hope that it will all be downloaded and ready to go in the morning.

It always LOOKS like your downloading the game again... But most of it is just verifying.

Repair the launcher. It will verify the files wait for it. After that it probably will start to download couple gbs more. Cancel that download and restart the launcher. Then it should be ready to play. Thats exactly what i did couple hours ago.

Just tried that. Ended up back at the same error. I def give up for tonight, I don't think this is something I can fix on my end and if it is I don't care enough to waste any more time on it now.

Yes, it's set to unlimited. I even tried changing it and then changing it back.

What my connection is approximately capable of (one is bits and the other is in bytes):

It usually downloads around 8-10MB/s if I remember correctly.

I'll give it another try, ended up getting the corrupted data thing last time. If it happens again I guess I will just have to delete the entire PTS and re download it

*sigh* still the same thing. I did the repair, let it verify until it got to the part where it wanted to download ~30 GB of data. I made sure it was actually downloading as well and not still verifying. Canceled that, closed launcher, opened it again and once again I'm stuck with the same error at the exact same spot of the download. I am thinking about trying to make a new install of the PTS in another directory but with the horrible download speeds from the PTS launcher that is going to take quite a long time.

Sorry to hear. The only differences between your case and mine i can see is that my download after the verifying was showing 8gb, not 30, and i did not cancel it before closing the launcher. Not sure if it is important, probably not.

See the "game options" right next to realm status? Click that, choose stop updating, then repair.

I ended up giving up and deleting my entire PTS install and re downloading. That thankfully worked and I can play on PTS now. Ridiculous that had to be done though.
