Nightblade AP Farming

I watched all of Crown's AP farming videos, and I think I'm doing it right, though I can't seem to escape most of the time like he does. Someone always snares me or uses mage light, but I never saw Crown get caught by that. I see him make 200k per hour average, and I can't get better then 110k and only sometimes when population is medium but running back after dying takes up some time, so is that probably why?

Tbh I am taking a shot in the dark here because I'm a bit confused by your post, but are you trying to do the whole proxy+soul tether+vicious death combo? If that's the case, put up shadow image somewhere intelligent before you jump in.

You never saw them get caught because they posted the good clips lol. And very rarely does copy pasting a streamer's build yield the same results.

If your talking about the whole crown Farming 200k ap and hour on a resource, it's a lie.

The pug was getting friends to go on other alliances and then for them to suicide on a resource so he could get the kill ap and the resource ap.

@Sypher Called him out on it and the guy promised to post a video, he was never seen again.

    Likely left due to embarrassment.

@leepalmer95 Actually, I quit playing about 2 weeks before Sypher decided to start his crap festival, and was happily playing Paragon with friends when that all started. If I recall correctly, Slaxis, Vandstyle, Reften, Morozov, and I were celebrating our Silver rank group winning against Fengrush and four of his friends who were all Platinum or Diamond rank around that time.

This guy is asking about exactly those videos that were posted in the Resilient guild info to show people with decent interpersonal communications skills and who can show respect to their peers my methods of farming AP. I took quite of few people with me farming who saw, learned and benefited from our theory crafting and execution - many of whom got their Emperor achievements from those 1-200k/hour farms.

You should consider how much AP it takes to hit AR50, how long it takes to make, and would any normal group of "friends" actually want to feed at a resource - which incidentally would show crossed swords on a map and draw attention, so wouldn't last longer than a few minutes if you tried. We've broken up quite a few "kill your friends on alts" parties on campaign reset days. As much as you'd love to claim that the high AP earners do that, they might get away with it for 10-15 minutes, but not for hours.

@Eliavareth I'm not sure how much the game has changed in the past 6 months since I stopped playing, though what you saw me do back then will probably not work as well these days.

Back then very few people were using mage light or flare, whereas now it seems very common. I logged in last weekend to be social and mess around, and while it's very obvious that I'm very out of practice, I could see that the NB bomb builds aren't as good as they used to be. I still made some great plays, but wasn't able to escape as much.

In those vids you can also see how much I roll dodge to get out of snares. I'm not sure what has changed, though my stamina management is really, really horrible right now in the same gear with similar (as far as I can remember) champion points.

Look at the video titled "Cliff Diving" at about 10 minutes in, or "Spring Control" at about 6 minutes in. Both of those methods will probably work best to push your AP farming higher, though it tended to be better if you're not on a very busy map. If you're in a pop-locked time of day, don't even bother.

I log in a few times a week, so if you catch me online just holler in Resilient guild chat and we can run together for a bit.

Oh here we go, back to defend yourself? Where is that video you promised months ago? The one before you vanished.

Funny even though you 'quit' 2 weeks before, you still managed to find the time to farm 200k an hour on a resource on a pop locked campaign, at the same time you managed to do this without anyone actually seeing you in the main fights for hours.

    Everyone knows.

But go ahead, carry on with the long paragraph responses with those nicely hidden insults.

@Sypher I believe this man owes you a video.

@leepalmer95, and I believe you should cut this man, @Crown, some slack.

@Crown has always been respectful and very helpful to the community, either by taking the time to create his guides, spending time on the forums or directly in the game helping (not shaming...) others.

    Much respect to him...

    and I Pretty sure @Sypher couldn't give a rat @$$ about Crown's video.
That's old news / drama. I'm sure they both have turned the page and so should you.

@leepalmer95 If you had paid attention to the stream, line of questioning, or the rather long thread posted at the time, you'd know that I came online that morning specifically to make a video and explain things to a few people who watched. You're also erroneously assuming that it was on a resource all the time.

@sluice This is exactly why we decided not to post things publicly. Let the people who are friends, and can ask questions respectfully benefit from what I learned and the knowledge and technique developed over two years - instead of those who are quick to jump on a bandwagon hating and accusing things that they have no clue about. There is nothing I feel the need to prove to random internet people who probably deserve to have their parents wash their mouths out with soap - why should I help those people be better players? If you have two students walk up to a teacher, one says, "Would you please explain this concept, I greatly appreciate anything you can do to help me improve" and the other says, "eff you, tell me what I want to know in order to pass the test you effing .... <blah blah - insert more swear words here>", which do you think is going to get the help? I had no idea what was going on Sypher's stream that morning, and I offered to run with him and show him things later on. After seeing what went on previous to our discussion, and being given some screen shots of things typed, why would I want to give him anything to help him and his fan boys?

@Eliavareth I'm answering this question publicly as it is relevant. The reason why people come back and chase me beyond what is normal, is that I have a character who is a Grand Overlord, and by killing me they get an achievement and colour. I made it known that if anyone can kill my other characters (the templar or the DK) five time and show five killing blow screen shots (I think it was 5 - though it's been a long time.. I think I gave a few kills out for just 2-3 killing blows), I'll log onto Crown and let them kill me for the achievement and colour. The amount of AP you get killing the same people again is a lot lower a certain amount of time passes (it used to be about 5-6 minutes), so that's also why I would lead some on a merry chase and not try to kill them until that timer had expired. I used this process often enough to learn and improve on my other characters, and opponents were happy to try and kill me for the time that I wanted to practice. You won't get the same numbers of people dedicated to hunting you down unless there's something for them to gain - or they really start to hate you!
