How to get PTS

Hello,

I'm an XB1 player, but bought the PC version, so I can check out the PTS. How do I select it for when it comes out later today. How would I go about logging on to it?

in the settings bit on the loader screen - looks like a cog top right - scroll down and tick the show pts box. go baqck to first loader screen click on pts,,,

Open up your launcher, and in the top right corner of it there is a cog wheel (kind of) symbol. Click that, it opens up some selections. Scroll down to 'Show Public Test Server' and make sure that is checked off. Then click apply.
When back and regular launcher page, you will see PTS as a choice listed (right under the game). Click it and install. (Once PTS is online of course..)

How do character work on the pts? Is it your same character from live? Or does it let you make max level characters? Ima console scrub so idk.

They do a character copy from the live servers, but you can also create template characters that will be max level

They make copies of one servers characters at a time @IxskullzxI . So normally they make a copy of all NA PC characters and put it on the PTS for the first couple weeks, and the EU uses "template" characters. Then later they copy the EU PC characters and NA has to use templates. The template characters allow you to create a character at max level etc. with a bunch of free stuff to use on the PTS.

The templates are only 300cp which sucks. I also main xb1 but have the game on PC. It would be nice if the template characters were max champ points.
