DSA Master Weapons on Normal

Supposedly a buddy got one on normal. It was CP160 but it was blue.

Is it confirmed there's still a chance for them to drop on normal?

    I've heard the rumor also.

    But I know people that have run it in normal and haven't got any weapon.

    If it's a thing, it's definitely not a 100% drop chance like in Veteran.

    Like I said, I know people that have run it 2 or 3 times together and never got any Master Weapon drop..

    So, if it does drop, the chances are minimal.
    Personally, I think they only drop in Veteran.

    I think you have gotten as solid an answer as you can expect. A wishy washy maybe.

    It just has not been out that long and unless someone links a v160 master weapon house quality it questionable. If they do link an image of it then It's still a maybe.

    I soloed DSA reg, ran it multiple times since then, and even duoed a couple times to help a buddy level. Not a single weapon.

    I'd need a link to believe it.

    Yep agree & aware of that... was just making the point where people are saying they don't think they drop on normal, that they always used to.... so by extrapolation it seems quite possible that they may still do so.

    But true, the gap between Master/Maelstrom and crafted isn't as big as it used too with the more powerful glyphs that we now have.

    The master bow is great, but a bow with weapon damage glyph will give you 348 weapon damage (418 if infused) for 5 seconds OVERALL, not just on a target affected by your Poison Injection.

    Does OVERALL(for a potentially shorter duration) VS SINGLE (from poison Inject.) target matter?
    Just ask the 3+ person that will get nuke by your Dawnbreaker + Reverse Slice combo...

    Why not both? PI/light attack, switch to greatsword light attack for both enchants to proc.

    But not very possible if you are running a Maelstrom Weapon on front bar.

    But then again it's the difference between having an extra189 constant weapon damage or an extra 348 for 5 seconds, every 7-8seconds? (Not sure of the cooldown duration of the weapon enchant)

    I never said I got the master sword, unfortunately... :disappointed:
    I totally would be stoke if I got one, but I'd much prefer a decent Maelstrom bow and that Maelstrom 2H for now.

    We had the discussion in the german part of the forum and one of the guys who said he got one apologized yesterday for the false infomation. I and others were runing dsa normal for a while and didn't get any weapon. So i think we all have to run the vet mode.
