We know that next year we will be getting player housing, but what about the future to come?

Just some ideas...

Mounted combat

Banner/standard bearer that can ride around and buff/debuff large scale combat.

Necromancy/Ranger classes ( Once standard classes are balanced )

Dwemer/Falmer Races ( Because let's face it ZOS already broke lore to the point where we might as well re-write ES history )

NPC Companions for PVE ( Because actual s0cial interaction is over-rated )

Personalizing the particle effect colors on spells/attacks.

Spellcrafting

Mounts that multiple people can ride ( 4 seated Wamasu... c'mon you know that would be awesome )

Political system where players can take positions of power in major cities ( Don't ask me how, just make it so )

Race specific Ultimates

Deadric realms DLC

Furniturecrafting for upcoming housing

and lastly... a SINGLE child somewhere.. anywhere

No (even though we want it)

Can't we sort of do that already? To a degree I mean.

    Not happening.

    DEFINITELY not happening.

Don't really care for this myself but there are people that want them.

Don't see this happening as it would cause deceptive confusion.

    No ETA.

I stand by my wagon-based concept :)https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/276658/concept-mounts-and-wagons (DO NOT NECRO!!)

We're just the Vestige, an adventurer. Although I AM technically a chief in Wrothgar :p

I do believe these were removed for a reason so don't expect them to come back.

    Only time will tell...

That's assuming we don't actually build the houses OURSELVES! XD

The guards used to be children, and will be in the future.

Dwemer/Falmer Races ( Because let's face it ZOS already broke lore to the point where we might as well re-write ES history )

Please don't actually encourage lore breaking, we need a set history and it needs to be preserved as much as possible. Unless we get a time travel Quest that takes us back to when the Dwemer were still around, they're going to stay gone.
Personalizing the particle effect colors on spells/attacks.

Magick has a set color(s) for reasons. Blue n'such for regular, Gold for Healing, and Purple/Red for Dark.
Political system where players can take positions of power in major cities

What would that accomplish? I can't see any mechanic that would work short of just somehow earning a title like "Lord of Davon's Watch".
    Race specific Ultimates

THIS I can get behind. <3

You have that backwards. Some people, such as yourself, actually think this game has NO future, and yet there is no sheer indication of decline in the game's health.

Didn't say my opinion was absolute fact. However, by looking at what Zeni has been doing recently, like taking ridiculous amounts of time to fix basic MMO mechanics and cash grabbing (very expensive, yet poorly designed items in crown store, as well as the soon to be released lockboxes).

These aren't the kind of decisions that cause a game to grow. Believe me, I do wish these things weren't true, I waited two years to play this game, and then was sorely disappointed by its glaring flaws after playing for only a couple months.

If Zeni does actually fix some things and whatnot, then I will gladly come back and be able to play with my guild again.

Instead of asking for races that can't be included without some severe "lore gymnastics" (this term is totally a thing that exists), why not some races that could actually make sense?

Like, say, the Maormer? I know, I know, I don't like the stinking fish elves either. But they are kinda pretty, come on.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

We know that next year we will be getting player housing, but what about the future to come?

    Just some ideas...

    Mounted combat

Would be cool, but I don't think it'll happen.
Banner/standard bearer that can ride around and buff/debuff large scale combat.

    No need for this.
Necromancy/Ranger classes ( Once standard classes are balanced )

Possibly if done right. But I doubt we'll see new classes.
Dwemer/Falmer Races ( Because let's face it ZOS already broke lore to the point where we might as well re-write ES history )

    A big fat NO there.
NPC Companions for PVE ( Because actual s0cial interaction is over-rated )

Meh, couldn't' care less about this one, I wouldn't use them, they'll probably have dumb A.I and will be useless in combat anyway.
Personalizing the particle effect colors on spells/attacks.

I wouldn't mind this being considered.
    Spellcrafting

I hope this eventually goes ahead.
Mounts that multiple people can ride ( 4 seated Wamasu... c'mon you know that would be awesome )

    I don't think it's necessary.
Political system where players can take positions of power in major cities ( Don't ask me how, just make it so )

    What? Why?
    Race specific Ultimates

I know weapon ultimates are coming and I like having more options. I like the idea of Race specific ones too, but they have to be careful about doing it.
    Deadric realms DLC

Yes please. I reckon there is a big chance we'll get it too.
    Furniturecrafting for upcoming housing

    I would support this wholeheartedly.
and lastly... a SINGLE child somewhere.. anywhere

    Just some ideas...

    Mounted combat
That is something people have been wanting for ages... all those knights unable to go jousting, or doing a heavy cavalry charge in cyrodil... ;)
Banner/standard bearer that can ride around and buff/debuff large scale combat.
I'd rather have a bard for large scale buff/debuff type effects...
Necromancy/Ranger classes ( Once standard classes are balanced )
Classes will never ever be balanced, but that is no reason not to add something... but it really should be something that both new and old characters can benefit from, so...
    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/240186/class-morph-idea/p1
Dwemer/Falmer Races ( Because let's face it ZOS already broke lore to the point where we might as well re-write ES history )
Nah. There is still a shred of lorefulness left, and that would be crossing the line at which I would unsubscribe and leave... and I expect others may think the same.
But races that are possible without lorebreaking... Maormer, Reachmen, Goblins, or some Akaviri races... bring them on!
NPC Companions for PVE ( Because actual s0cial interaction is over-rated )
Meh... and I am saving that as a incorrigable sociophobe!
Personalizing the particle effect colors on spells/attacks.
Personalizing? No... but having sub-classes with different colors I would like!
    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/240186/class-morph-idea/p1
    Spellcrafting
Not sure I want people to be able to cherry-pick their abilities, everyone would end up with the same "super-effective" skills. If spellcrafting, I'd make it more like "scrollcrafting", making the spells built there one-time-use stuff that you had to stock up on to at least have some limitations...
Mounts that multiple people can ride ( 4 seated Wamasu... c'mon you know that would be awesome )
Yes, it would be awesome! War mounts for cyrodil! Carriges for roleplaying. That sort of thing...
Political system where players can take positions of power in major cities ( Don't ask me how, just make it so )
...could be a minigame where people bribe their way into a position with gold, much like bidding for guild vendors, just in a personal prestige kind of way...
    Race specific Ultimates
Meh... not really excited by that idea...
    Deadric realms DLC
    Definitely!
    Furniturecrafting for upcoming housing
Possibly... though I expect a lot of the furniture will be achievement-based as well. Trophies to hang on your wall, etc.
and lastly... a SINGLE child somewhere.. anywhere
Oh, yeah... it does not have to be attackable kids, just some running around in the safe cities would add a LOT of flavor. And for those "save the kid" quests... once the "my mom still calls me her boy even though I am fully grown" shtick can work, but when you find a second quest where an clearly adult person needs you to hold their hand to make a short trip back to their family waiting in an obvious place within sight... well... it kinds damages immersion...

Things I would like to see:

    New Weapons :
    - polearms (spears, halebeard,..)
    - crossbows (1handed, 2handed)
    - 1handed magic weapons (orbs/wands/focus/book kinda thing) combinable with 1handed weapons like swords (1h magic weap maybe only equipable in second hand
    - 2H ILLUSION staff
    - ....

New Worlds skill line LITCH (like vamp and WW) with ICE, POISEN and SUMMON skills

New Class Skills or maybe 3th morph option, more ICE & LIGHTNING options, and addition of ILLUSION magic

    Mounted combat sure why not

Warmounts for multiple people in Cyro, could be possible

    NO new classes or races

a system that makes u force to chose passives (like GW2 has for example) not the current CP system, where in the end if cap is raised enough, everybody will have every passive and is totally overpowered

    NPC companions for PVE:
let you be able to take an alt of yours as Companion (with maybe only 1 weapon and skillbar to keep it simple) and a sort of option where anyone can hire and alt of any other player as companion
(Dragons Dogma had this, you had your onw companion, and could hire 2 additional companions of other players, and other people could hire your companion, it was really nicely done, companions with experience with certain type of monsters would tell you in battle what their weaknesses were, you could even perform combo moves with companions... and if you returned the companion, you could evaluate the companion for the owner to see, and even send a gift along if u wanted)

    oh and Jewlery crafting

    Mounted combat

I'd like to see this. Like LoTRO did, though I've never played Rohan, they held off for a while then built an entire zone to tailor the new system.
Banner/standard bearer that can ride around and buff/debuff large scale combat.

I assume this would be a PvP thing, in which case I can't honestly form an opinion. I don't PvP much.
Necromancy/Ranger classes ( Once standard classes are balanced )

Why not? Although Necromancy is illegal in Morrowind and, iirc, Skyrim? But new classes might be a fresh addition. It's happened before in other games to no failure.
Dwemer/Falmer Races ( Because let's face it ZOS already broke lore to the point where we might as well re-write ES history )

No, no, no and no. The Dwemer, bar one, are all gone. The Falmer are blind. Not happening, sorry.
NPC Companions for PVE ( Because actual s0cial interaction is over-rated )

Again, looking at LotRO, they did this pretty well for Instances. You could recruit an NPC tank, Healer or Ranged DPS. I liked it what little I used. Please see here.
Personalizing the particle effect colors on spells/attacks.

Maybe when we get Spellcrafting? I don't see why not.
    Spellcrafting

Yes. They've already said it's coming. Just HURRY UP!
Mounts that multiple people can ride ( 4 seated Wamasu... c'mon you know that would be awesome )

The ESO world isn't that big, apart from Cyrodil, so I really don't see the benefit for this.
Political system where players can take positions of power in major cities ( Don't ask me how, just make it so )

This one I actually like. Like how some Guilds can own Keeps/Outposts in Cyrodiil. If you take over a town, your guild could get an income or something, or unique quests to repair/defend/upgrade the town?
    Race specific Ultimates

    Yes please.
    Deadric realms DLC

I really hope that this is coming. It just makes sense.
    Furniturecrafting for upcoming housing

The classes need more 'misc' options, instead of purely focusing on gear. Make them useful. Make Alchemists mix dyes for players and/or housing furniture. Make Woodworkers build furniture or change the cosmetics of the house. Make Clothiers craft banners or maps, or stuffed creatures, for the houses. Make Blacksmiths craft key components for these things (screws, nails, railings, etc).
and lastly... a SINGLE child somewhere.. anywhere

Nah. We get enough whining from the folk who live and breathe Cyrodil. Don't need annoying kids.

I love the idea of a time travel quest - that would allow us to experience parts of TES that might be previously be locked by lore. It would definitely give the developers a "way out" to introduce things that might be "lore friendly", but are not actually part of TES lore. However, I am uncertain if time travel is "a thing" in TES....so that might be lore breaking right there and squash the whole thing.
