A long time ago, I had this quest that sent me into a building. Think it was a kind of church, but there were stairs that led down with an alter at the bottom. But anyways, when I entered the place, I was shocked to see 50 or more players in there. They were all lined up in perfect rows, even in a line going down the stairs. Then I saw a male and female toon standing in front of a priest at the bottom. I guessed it was a wedding.

Well...I wasn't sure what to do. I had to talk to someone at the bottom for a quest. But I wasn't sure how long this wedding was going to go on. So I slowly went down and said, "Umm...I'm sorry. I need to do a quest. I'll be out of here real quick." Then I got several smiley face whispers. So I did my quest and left in a hurry.

It was honestly one of my most embarrassing and shocking moments in an mmo. It was just so surprising to be running around the town, seeing maybe only 1-2 other players, and then enter in a building that was packed full of people. And it was such an awkward moment, having to crash a wedding.

Had some guy in Cyrodiil demand a ransom from me for hitting him with my lightning staff. Was kinda weird.

And nobody forget Naktar, the black-scaled argonian with horrible grammar who starts nude drum parties at the fountain in Davon's Watch. I swear I almost went full grammar-*** but I realized they were having fun and I didn't want to ruin the glorious party, there were about 50 people there, I swear.



They were all argonians, too.

Strange one last night, and by a slim chance I hope the guys/gals are forum users as I want to find out what was going on.

I went back to stos mkai last night to collect treasure from a map I got.

I decided to hang around the noob areas and was looking for someone to donate some low level stuff to. Didn’t find anyone but I think I may go back again after making some trait set stuff for the early levels.

I came across 3 players. 2 elf girls and one elf guy. The girls were almost identical apart from the flower colour in the hair. The guy was dressed in old clothes. They were all dancing around in close group. I stood and watched for a bit until they noticed me. At which point the grils came over and started dancing around me.

Was a bit freaked out but they were clearly linked somehow and having fun. I couldn’t work out if they were brand new (lvl3) or toons of older players and just doing something different.

Be nice to know who you were!

Just a couple
My first day in ESO standing in Daggerfall Square wondering what the heck was going on and watching the comings and goings of various peoples on their travels then a dance/music troupe arrived! 3 guys all with a cat hoods on (and nothing much else) started a performance on the stairs of the dye place playing instruments and doing funny dances.. people gave them gold. lol it was so funny I will never forget it.
We need more parties like that in Daggerfall..

Another time in Cyrodiil I came across a DC group carrying 3 scrolls! I followed for a bit and watched as they jumped into the water around the Imperial City and died a slaughterfish death leaving the scrolls floating and unreachable.

The banks of the lake soon filled with people from all factions looking across the water, trying to figure out how to get the scrolls back, people put up forward camps etc and a few brave souls with high health tried to swim out to them.

We didn't attack any other factions... until the scrolls respawned and then it was business as usual.
It was an awesome and funny time, I have some video of it saved too...

That's pretty cool. Those little events help to bring the game alive.

@maxjapank it's funny you mention this because I was going to write a very similar story.

It very well could have been the same location.

I went down stairs to get a couple quest points that were in either corner of the far side of the room. As I came down the stairs there were too many people to count.

Except, instead of a wedding it looked more like some sort of cult ritual something or other. I just ran back, did my quest bits and moved on.

Before I really knew anyone in the game, I used to roleplay a drunk female nord around Stonefalls. Sometimes I would go up to people and say, "Hey, you wanna know a secret? I'm dragonborn!" Then would /shout at them repeatedly and say, "Wait, I can do this... It worked yesterday..." Occasionally people would catch on and /playdead and I'd cheer.

Then there was the time I logged in my nord, forgot that I had logged out dancing drunk in the fountain in Stonefalls. "Woke up" to a rather large RP group gathered for a Mara ceremony. They all kinda looked at me for a moment, and the priest said, "Pay no mind to the large naked woman behind me..." I said something like, "What in Kyne's name happened last night?" and wandered off.
