whats the best random RP moment youve come across

Last night an impromptu RP thing happened. Someone started playing a lute in Dagerfall. 4 or 5 other random players of mixed levels then stood around in a circle and stared dancing, some clapping etc. Other passers by then stopped and watched, some started joining in with their own emotes. It then broke up within a few mins and everyone went on their way. Quite surreal but great fun.

I was looking for a group for pledges one day, and we needed another group member. So I slapped on my Seducer costume and /danced for five minutes. The other two group members joined in with me.

As it turns out, one of them was a competitive pve'r.

But eventually, we got a group member.

I have seen random dance parties form, I try to join in if I can.

I think the coolest RP I ever saw was a group of players standing around the Vile Manse having some deep conversation about something. Is there a better place than the Vile Manse for RP? Anyway, I thought they were there waiting to do the Public Dungeon, so I am trying to get them to join up with me. Then I turn on the Say channel and see what they are talking about. I watched for about 10 minutes. Still not sure what they were talking about, but it was neat.

There have been quite a few 'moments' for me. Many are simple, low-key events or occurrences and it is these I like best.

As I tend to walk everywhere, don't use mounts and avoid wayshrines, I spend a fair bit of time on the roads or paths. Very occasionally, i'll spot someone else on a more leisurely stroll to their destination, and sometimes we salute, greet or wave as we pass each other. It's a simple gesture, but that little bit of acknowledgement can make such a difference. On another occasion, again wandering along as I do, I stumbled across six or seven Khajiit asleep in the shade of a large tree in the depths of Auridon. I have no idea what was going on! I didn't interrupt, but watched them for a minute or so before leaving them. Maybe they had found a secret stash of Skooma, who knows...

Dancing before starting a dungeon happens often. I dance, a player follow and sometimes an other play the lute.

The best RP event was with a Khajiit, only a few days ago (and I play for two years). He invited me after I asked for a group. He was near from me, and I like to comment other player armor/costume/mount... So I said his camel was cool and I saw his tail. So I told his tail is cool too. My character is a Khajiit and he likes to compare his tail to others. And we started a RP conversation. (He started before me, saying 'Greetings' when I joined the group, but I did not know he was RPing.) During the dungeon too, we said 'this one', etc. It was awesome.

Thank you. I love to meet RP Khajiit. Perhaps we will meet again!

You know that house in Rivenspire where you meet Darien Gautier right after he's performed some of his signature style of espionage? I walked in there once on an AD alt to find about eight fully-naked Khajiit standing around. I have no idea what they were doing since as soon as I walked in they all just stopped and stared at me.

I went ahead and switched to another alt for the rest of the night.

I was loot farming Daedric Motifs way back when Craglorn was released. Anyways, at the inn in Ebonheart there was a group of naked players and when I read some very erotic words and actions...
I joined in on it.

Well, @Suter1972 , the best rp moment I've been a part of was after I went on a long fishing trip where I created a Fishing Cult devoted to the great Lord Fishie (Ruler of the fish, the seas, and master of all dark anglers and light fishermen).

After that I ended up having this really weird initiation ceremony where you had to catch X number of fish from a hole followed by X number of fish in Y number of minutes

Was really fun~ and I got really into it

sadly, none managed to join the Great Cult, but many a soul tried to find salvation in the fish.

Erm, weird things like this happen sometimes ... Don't even ask.

But I think one of the funniest things that ever happened to us was this one time when some of us were just hanging out in Riften, and these four tiny bosmer showed up. All of them gathered around the biggest nord there, and started saying "Daddy!", "We found you!", "Where's mommy?"

Then they went up to the pale guy dancing in a skirt and asked if he can be their new mommy.

A friend and I were dance partying it up in one of the starter towns (can't remember which, this was forever ago) when things started turning sensual. There was one person who then emotes for us to follow them. They led us to an npcs mansion, went upstairs to an abandoned bedroom, and we basically emote an (blocked for kiddies) for about five minutes, with various forms of rated R teabagging. Friend and I were getting bored so we said our goodbyes... Only to have the person beg us not to go, with multiple emotes. Then they stood in front of the door and repeatedly said no. And cried.

Yeah... It got weird fast.

when in Mournhold 10-15 people made a line near Bank gate, waiting for ordinator to let them come inside. and all of them (including me) were complaining in angry way about organization in this city. especially everyone took seriously the line positions.
and there were funny personalities too, heh.

people were looking strange on us. some of them even asked, what we waiting for

Sat waiting for a dol to form, just me and a random high level sourcerer. I used emotes to sit down casually rather than stand there looking afk or spamming magic like the kids do in hub areas. They then pulled up a chair and we just sat there emoting a conversation for 5 mins. They then opened trade and gave me a load of free higher level stuff.

The dol then dropped, we ( or rather they did it and I tried to look useful by doing a heal every so often lol).

We then said our goodbyes and ride off in separate ways.

So I was grouping in Riften and came across two naked argonians, both of their names were a little bit, dare I say, suggestive.

We all watched them for about 13 mins until they noticed us, they were using say so we could listen in on the ERP.

I'm not entirely sure it was an RP moment, but I was gathering lower-level resources in Auridon with my main Bosmer, when I came across this level 8 guy playing a lute. Being a former irl dancesport competitor, I stop, and I dance. This goes on for a few minutes until he stops. I say thank you for the dance and then head off towards Phael so I can gather water hyacinth. Then that guy, and some random dude, comes back up to me and starts playing the lute and dancing again.

They followed me for a half hour doing this, trying to "woo" me.

It was actually rather creepy.

So not good as in funny or happy, but it definitely stirred emotions.

Back before I could just solo wrothgar world bosses, I would sometimes lead groups to kill them. I've always wanted to sound the horn to get people to go into a charge like a battle scene from a fantasy epic.

The group was waiting patiently for the go ahead to start, and without any planning or explanation I used /horn and in unison, 23 other players immediately jump into battle and start wrecking the poor mobs.

My friend was in the room watching and with a sort of dumbfounded tone, "Did... you just blow a war horn to start that fight?"

"Yes. Yes I did!"

When I first got the game on PC, I entered a delve in Stonefalls to find two players guarding an entrance and started asking my business. Another time after the game launched on Xbone, I was adventuring in Eastmarch when I spotted a group of about 5 naked nords sprinting to a lake who all ran in and started swimming

Some time later, another male Nord (I was playing a Nord as my main as well) approached me and asked me a simple question. "Would you like to see my boat, mate?" Believe it or not, he was speaking like he was Captain Jack Sparrow. He even had a Bosmer companion accompanying him. I went along with him and speaking of boats and war tactics, then I decided to follow him to his boat. It was a large boat, but it wasn't really in his legal custody. He was a fun man and awesome roleplayer.

I would of loved to see this guy in action. I'm in love with Jack Sparrow. Ps4 seems to be quite lacking in role playing moments. I've never experienced any. But everyone keep posting! This is a fun thread to read.

Once upon a time in Shornhelm, I wandered across three Nords and a Khajiit in formal wear sitting in chairs around an invisible table. I only know it was a table because they kept asking each other to 'pass the sugar, dear' and berating each other's table manners. It took me a while, but I figured out that they were having a tea party, all Alice in Wonderland style. After a few minutes, they noticed me watching. The Khajiit, a dashing cat in a black noble's suit, proceeded to ask me if I liked tea, and if it was my birthday. I replied 'of course it is', because who would turn down a chance like that, right?

... The second I said it, they all snapped upright, chairs disappearing. 'How rude,' one of them said, and they all took off running.

I stood there, bewildered. I don't think I understand roleplaying. xD

I was in IC with a low level character soloing (which can get a little intense at times) - i came across 5 or 6 enemy players standing in a semi circle looking up at another player (of the same alliance) standing on a crate...

it looked really serious and official like (I remember being really impressed by their spacing and focus on the person standing on the crate)...it fascinated me to the point i unstealthed and just stood there watching, they ignored me which was nice...

it went on for a few minutes at least - waved to them then left...probably not a complete rp moment (otherwise they'd have killed me) - but, very cool nonetheless...

My favorite is the group of dark elves in mournhold selling argonian skins for 300 gold. They even had a friend make an argonian character just so he could get naked and put on coldharbor cuffs.
