For those who don't know:
You were very close! Just off a bit on the number.It's the first 100 billion base-4 digits of pi. With base 4, each digit in the sequence is between 0 and 3 (as opposed to base 10 where digits are between 0 and 9). What they did was assign each value a cardinal direction, so 0 is north, 1 is east, etc. Then they drew a line, moving one pixel for each digit according to the direction implied by the value of that digit.
The idea is that this shows the irrational nature of PI. If PI followed some kind of pattern then we would see that pattern in the resulting image, but since PI is effectively random we just get a big blob.

Yeah.
The day I learned how to use complex numbers to derive trigonometric identities, I've just derived them instead of memorizing them.
Then there was that time I had to make a C++ program for the distance formula (IE the Pythagorean Theorem). I chose to give it the general form of Fermat's Last Theorem's equation instead of the Pythagorean identity
The summer calculus class I'm in has so little homework; I'm disappointed
