Before I finished reading the post all the way I thought you were basically saying, " Why are EP able to control double the objectives that we are? This game sucks!"

The low population bonus is calculated every 30 minutes. While the population may be balanced at the moment, at the time it was calculated there may of been enough of an imbalance for one side to earn the low pop bonus. In the image you show, AD is currently earning the low pop bonus.

Then the calculations for points makes absolutely no sense. Why does it state "potential points" if it's calculated from the population 29 minutes ago?

And should that low population bonus really outweight such a huge difference in dominance?

Just look at AD, same population as DC and 2 less keeps, yet they gain a little more than 1/3rd of the points that DC does.

What the hell is up with these calculations? EP losing on ever damn campaign, and even on the campaigns we own, we lose too!

Can this be effectively manipulated if several 24man groups got in on it?

Say 2 minutes before calculation everyone in their groups close/quit game.

Then just all log back in after the points are distributed and go back to work at the zone? If enough groups do this can they guarantee the low pop bonus for the next period)?

I mean for f* sake, look at the first screenshot of AD without population bonus - 30 points.

Next screenshot, now with only 1 more keep, but population bonus - 90 points?

60 points more? From a friggin population bonus and 1 more keep???

That's like 9/10th of all the points EP get from having all scrolls and more than double the amount of keeps and resources.

Log off 2 win.

I actually found several threads online and on Reddit suggesting abuse of the population bonus. Seeing as your population doesn't count anyone in the campaign who's not home or guest, so you may actually get the bonus even if you're as many as the opponents. Easy to take advantage of and exploit, which is indeed being done but people getting taxied in by their friends.

What if they are logging off the toons they want to gain the points in, and logging into Cyrodiil with characters from another faction to increase that factions player numbers...

The Reddits I found were describing exactly that. People log off from their home campaign, then 'swords for hire' are ported in via taxi and continue the pvp fights, even when your alliance gets the huge population bonus.
