There is no way, absolutely no way in hell that buying a house will be anything except crowns, and a lot of them at that.
The house itself should be a reward from a quest. Basic improvements and basic decoration should be earned by playing (quests or kinda like skyrim style).
But, of course, they will put crown store only decoration/materials.
To be honest, it should have a lot of questing involved to get the house done, and after that, one should be able to buy stuff with in-game gold and (cooler) stuff with crowns ^^ That's just my opinion.
My vote.
- Subscribers/dlc players get the house for crowns (they have crowns, they don't need to do anything in game for the house)
- Non-subscriber gets small hutt for gold (100k for example) once they completed all cadwell silver and gold quests on all maps on one character. Once they complete it again on another character - which means they are ESO Addicted - they get a mansion, for 1 milion gold.
That way more people will spend more time in game, first on completing more pve content, second on earning money.
Not sure if that idea had crossed the devs minds yet, but if they see this, you can bet that's exactly how they'll do it.What I don't want is to pay monthly crowns, like rent, to keep the house.
