Plans for limited time crown store items to eventually return for another short duration?

I have heard from people in my guild(s) that there are plans to bring the limited edition items that were on the crown store, back for a limited time.
Is this true?
Will i finally have my chance to buy that one mount i missed?

I doubt it, and I dont really see them needing to do that. Datamining has uncovered a wast amount of new mounts, providing them with enough content for at least another year.

I don't think they'll ever really run out of ideas either. They can pretty much do an unlimited amount of texture variations for the current stock of mounts.

But yeah, I get how you feel. I'd love another chance at the Camel of Ill Omen or the Snow Bear. But then again, I'm sure they'll come up with some even cooler stuff in the future, so eh.. I'm good.

This question came up around the time the first few limited edition items were announced. Gina or Jessica answered that it might be possible for some limited time items to show up again. Now, this was when the first limited items were being introduced, and they probably didn't have as much in the pipeline, so it seems more likely that they won't bring any of them back. But...you never know - I just wouldn't count on it.

The only limited mount I can think of that was repeated, was the black panther senche mount. And that was only to allow the Xbox and Sony PS players to buy it. (They kind of got screwed with their platforms release date).

The Senche-Leopard was also repeated with the Black Senche-Panther. And yes, those have been the only two.

ZOS has done a lot recently to keep the players informed on the Crown Store versus last year.

Adjust your setting so you receive notifications via email. Then when your life is busy you wont get screwed.

I get emails regarding information on the crown store, which includes new items, limited edition items and specials. The most recent was the 50% off bag space upgrades, which was emailed out last Friday 08/12 and ended 08/15. I also received the Breton Hero Costume & Doom Wolf Mount email on 07/22, which was stated as limited edition items and ending on 07/25.

According to what they said on Gamescom, they are releasing "mystery boxes" to the Crown Store where you have a chance of finding a retired Crown Store item.

Of all of the awful ways they could bring old Crown Store items back, they picked RNG boxes. Sigh...

Because if I have to pay 5000 crowns (assuming that's the price) for a 1/17 chance (5%) at getting that 2500 crown mount that I missed out on last year, I better not be getting a random 1500 crown costume instead.

WHAT?! It is the most ridiculous, disgusting, unfair and stupid idea they have ever come up with. Paying real life money for something that you don't know what you'll eventually get is like slap in the face for us, players... I just don't know how to comment this...
