I play mostly Vivec and sometimes Shor.

Kyne is getting very sad. Someone made a comment on AD last night and said, "Don't take EP scrolls or tri-keeps, we don't want to discourage them from playing". Really? I just stopped playing then and went to Vivec. What is next, "Don't push for emp, we don't want people to log off"?

I've been on AD/DC when EP is pushing for emp and many times we didn't even have 5 people on. World population in the billions and we can't even get players in kyne.

Funny story, last week I went to Vivec on a low level character ( no cp ) because Kyne was dead. I went to bed and then logged back in thinking I was in Kyne.

It was rough, I tried so hard but died often. I made a comment in chat, "Gosh.. what is DC eating for breakfast?" Someone responded "Stam pots". I laughed and said, "lol, more like steroids". After I got 1 hit, i realized i was in Vivec.

I just logged in and not going to even look at Kyne, I'm sure it is dead or pop not even.

All good things come to an end. Game is older so less new players. And new pvp players are afraid of kyne because of the vet rerollers so they go to bgs or just straight to viv since it's populated.

Maybe nerfmire changes help viv lag

My guild plays mostly Vivec now, same for Gabe's guild. I've whined forever how bad this campaign is, but the truth is, it's got to the point where it's the only camp still worth playing

I've always liked playing in Vivec, I'm starting to get used to my 2 handed mace that shoots arrows.

Is Kyne really that dead? I've been planning on playing again at least casually if my irl friend decides he wants to give ESO a try. Hopefully the campaign is at least alive enough for a new player and his experienced buddy to *** around in.

In my case, I could not in good conscience as a GM tell people to spend an awful amount of time twinking their characters out to the level where they'd perform against the well-known Kyne regulars, only to delete those later once their 20 levels shelf life had expired. Playing in vet more regularly, I've realized that the people who would beat me all the time in Kyne were either people with a morphed dawnbreaker and jacked up weapon damage, or people spamming projectiles on players who don't have access to reflects yet. Seeing the same players in vet with the full access to the normal counterplays for these playstyles, the outcome was very different. As for group play, there really isn't much strategy in Kyne most of the time, it's a whole lot of potato-smashing. AA wiping to pugs group proves that plenty...

Besides, I really really don't ever want to do the Psijic grind again.

Other big problem with Kyne is it's basically an inbred campaign. I had a lot of fun setting up a guild there and making my own team. When the whole 'oh no we need to balance the campaign' thing started to happen, as it always end up happenin, I pulled out of the campaign because I much much prefer working with the same team and improving it than starting all over again. It's especially ludicrous to try and balance a campaign out with one's own guild when the alternative for improvement, Vivec or Sotha, is right there.

I also didn't think I was doing anyone with a genuine interest into end-game content a favor by having them marinate in their low CPs for eternity. I also tremendously enjoy not being the only group on the map doing anything at a given time, and usually being able to find a fight that matches the group's capability at any given time in Vivec.

Now if they could just fix the lag...

PS: I'm still waiting on my banker, AD.

Oh just relax. Lots of people just aren’t PvPing because of the Witches Festival, and the fact that PvP is the only part of the game completely shut out from the loot from the festival. This happens every time there’s a big event like this. I’ve spent maybe 2 hours in Cyro in the last 4 days because of it. If the population doesn’t rebound by next weekend, then you can go back to yelling about the sky falling and be justified.

Totally agree. I took a little break from Cyrodiil, but would have come back by now if it wern't for the WF. I'm only on the game a few hours a week, so not enough time to do both.

Chose army , currently starting signal school for 25U (signal support specialist) After the mos training it’s off to airborne school and then Ranger school then after , but I’m being told it can be either of the two first. Pretty excited that I can’t stop writing

My daughter is currently in her 2nd yr in the Air Force out in AZ.
I was out in CA during my time in. I got lucky, Southern Cali in the 90's was a sweet place.

I think Conquistador would say something like . . . .Vet is treating AA well and thanks for asking. Having a blast. We have learned more about AvA playing against Animosity in two weeks than we have in two years in Kyne. It is still a work in progress as most of us are still working on sets/builds that work in vet. It is also nice not feeling the responsibility of being the main guild on the server in prime time and trying to accomplish campaign goals while constantly taking in new players and trying to train them without wiping too much to twinks and rerollers which is discouraging to noobs.

On second thought, he probably wouldn't say anything of the sort to you.

Ha! Thanks... I'm still around... did a couple of trials, delves, wb and anchors yesterday.... May do some farming today while i watch some hockey. Haven't seen the new map yet... How is it? Are the bridges and gates in a constant state of collapse?

The only thing I see missing....is the comraderie in zone....no more "Good job DC!!" There's only one group.....and if you're not in it.....you're out! No more vision for the faction as a whole.
