@Enkil , organophosphates aren’t good for the soul. Had a guy come in who got out to fix a clogged tube on his farm equipment and got coated in organophosphate-containing pesticide. He was really sketchy about it and we didn’t think it was legal anymore so that’s reassuring.

As far as @Lumsdenml and old names that I can think of that were fun fights (and generally not toxic)...

Miniskirt and teacup chihuahua come to mind as early gods to me that ended up being pretty disappointing as I improved and CP were removed from nonvet.

Outlaw has always been a god of LOS to me, but 1v1 I never felt like he’s played super damage-intensive builds.

Redsky is a super good player. He’s still off being good in vet.

A king sticks in my mind, but I very rarely had good fights against him because I tended to play heavy armor S&B defile builds and he ran dizzying swing mobility-based stamsorcs.

@Raknosh is of course infamous from the AD perspective for herding pugs or PUGZ and we’d always joke about glade rock or glade flagging as a sure way to get his attention.

Gadriir was always the stronger of his duo and the nicer. I always felt like fights with him were pretty honest and could go either way without any effort to cheese each other.

Those are a lot of the folks that I think of as being pretty non-toxic, fun fights and stand out in my mind. There are others like Sora or some recent AD that stick out as infamous (more socially than play-wise), but not really worth chatting about.

And most importantly, @Mjollo is by far the least technically strong player and least entertaining person I’ve ever met. /s

But yea, Miniskirt, Mjollo and Redsky were all gods to me when I started. Also, Nigel remains the most impressive BwB Emp of all time from my DC perspective. I often wonder how it would have felt with more experience and without CP, but back then, he was single handedly tanking/killing 15+ DC at once.

He definitely had a lot of theorycraft on his side. His sap tank emp used what used to be either thunderbug or hatchling’s shell or something that had no cooldown and proccd constantly on taking damage for amazing AOE pressure.

I would like to point out that you dont actually ever see any of the AD on here complaining when we are outnumbered or when we are facing an army of enthusiastic DC or EP with a lust for AD blood in their eyes come rolling over the horizon toward us.. I dont know why DC and EP cant understand what Alliance War means.. last time i checked, war was army vs army.. not soldier vs soldier...

Dont be such sore losers and blame the people who log in to play for playing the game exactly as it was intended by the Devs, and for god sake go google cyrodiil zerg eu and then you will know what a real zerg is.. it is not 8-12 people.. if your faction cant manage to get a full group on to play, its NOT the other players fault, stop trying to make it sound like they are the reason you dont have any one on your alliance to defend, the problem is YOUR faction, not the other faction for showing up and playing

I remember that one, and a couple months before that, I remember a bomb blade. He had Proxy det, back in the days, it was almost impossible to get that skill in non vet.

I remember that one, and a couple months before that, I remember a bomb blade. He had Proxy det, back in the days, it was almost impossible to get that skill in non vet.

One of these days I will understand why it takes 60 seconds to morph Magicka Detonation and 60 lifetimes to morph Caltrops.

You talk like you're new here. Plenty of AD have complained about the exact same gate camping and overwhelming numbers. If you read the post, they were complaining about defending enemy tri-keeps with large numbers after scrolls are already gone. Yes, it's a wargame, but it's still a cheesy thing to do when you outnumber the other alliance and have all the buffs. It drives many opposing players to just give up and log off (or switch to the dominant alliance, sadly).

I absolutely do not agree with gate camping, however, I also understand that if it gets done to one, then there is retaliation, then more retaliation and the cycle continues... If I am leading a group, we take the scrolls, keeps etc then do not defend them. I cant speak for anyone else other than our guild and our policy is no gate camping, no tbagging.

And yes, I am a time dazzler!!! i love the psijic line... nightblades have had their snipe spam forever, now its the time lords turn!!!! hahaha <cue dr who music>
