Wrothgar crashes not fixed on X1?

Thank you, but its much bigger than just the crafting station and like sinibyte said its just not good enough and it never has been with this issue. This has been a huge problem TOTALLY IGNORED for 6 months now. I understand problems & glitches happen but this isnt right to be blown off for so long. We all paid for that DLC and it has been almost unplayable for the entire time. Please Please Please get every genius ZOS has to look into this problem. We have been sending tickets & complaining on the forums about it for months, there is NO reason it should have gone on this long.

X1 + wrothgar = game crash.

The game is also crazy laggy since the DB DLC

A lot of us have contacted Microsoft directly its such a disaster . Your customer service needs some serious help.


Thank you for for your effort I apologize for being so angry but this has just been going on for way too long without a solution or even a straight answer on the problem. I love the game, I really do & it wouldnt be as frustrating if it were a game we didnt care about. I also dont mean to take it out on you guys, you obviously didnt cause the problem.

That said it has to be addressed ASAP once and for all, and we would appreciate to be kept in the loop.

2 characters now. Completely uninstalled ESO and it's still doing it on another character after I re-installed it.

On Xbox, here's my advice.

Orsinium is a plague. When turning in writs just go to shatul wayshrine outside of the city, turn in write and bail straight back out. Never ever enter orsinium or use the main city wayshrine.

The rest of the country works very good.

It's definately not that because there are games with far more textures going on that run fine.

Heck, there are even other zones in this game with more going on that are fine.....rushed content and a lack of understanding of the console is the issue. It's not a power issue but a lack of quality from ZOS production.

It's been what 9 months of problems in Orsinium starting with all of PC regardless of the rig

I would assume so, they will only move stuck characters once or twice before they are forgotten about.

3 updates later and we still have issues with wrothgar/orsinium.

I've simply given up hope on completing anything ever again in this zone. Outside of resource farming this zone is useless.

90+ days is a long time to buy something and have 0 access

Oh it's defo a ZOS issue but just going off my experience with Orsinium, most laggy empty space in game right now. Sometimes it's always more than what meets the eye, I'm 100% certain it's something to do with them exclusive textures.

They will never answer this. Sad, but true. This zone should just be scrapped. They can't fix it, it's been months that this issue has been present.

Refunds for everyone who's paid for this dlc and some form of compensation for those of us who are subbed and can't play the dlc.

Yeah, I'm not generally one to clamor for a refund, but I'm pretty close right now.

I'm on board the refund/compensation train. I haven't been able to do any of the Orsinium main quests. Outside the city is usually pretty good, but I didn't buy a node-farming only DLC.

I got once character in there flawlessly. I emptied my quest log (even Cadwell's Gold and Pledges) and it's running very smoothly. I guess I'll have to do the same with all my characters lol.

I'll give it a try. I just hate that I have to remove quests from a questing game in order to get smooth functionality in a questing zone.

And what does that mean? We can't do Cadwell's silver/gold without first doing Orsinium or vice versa?

Crashes common thoughout the city especially loading into Scarp keep for me.

Yeah lol stay away from the entire area between the wayshrine, bank and dye station. Also make sure you have no quests logged from outside of Wrothgar. Doing that, I actually managed to finish everything on one toon and I'm halfway through the main quest line on another.

Additionally, if your game is crashing when you are in Wrothgar, please submit a ticket including the character you were on, where you were and what you were doing when the crash occurred.

We understand that this issue has been frustrating for a long time. We need more data to confirm exactly where and when this issue is occurring.

I spent probably 30-40 mins on my main and didnt get booted to the dashboard. ..until me and a friend went into the dye station.

First off he got booted and 10 mins after wards I got booted.

But overall it's improved but not fully fixed.

Such a shame.

FYI, it's not a new problem. If the focus was on the crafting station area only, the focus was too narrow. Anywhere in the city has had crashes since launch of the DLC and has gotten more prominent every DLC.

For an immediate fix, just move the max level writ turn in location. You will receive a huge reprieve from angry players and buy yourselves time to find a more permanent fix.

I haven't gone into Wrothgar after the patch yet, but really before the patch my game would Crash literally ANYWHERE within the city limits of Orsinium. Even when nearing the city gates as well. Just walking/riding through the city there would be a crash. Entering buildings would crash. Trying to use the Wayshrine would crash during the loading screen. The cause itself seems random but the only common denominator is the Character's position near and within Orsinium.

Stay away from the bank area. Was turning in a quest and accidentally talked to the wandering merchant whilst trying to jump and crashed hard.
