Jimboo84✭✭✭Funny that this issue isn't listed in the latest Patch Notes. I wonder when this will be tackled.
Lag is still active(for months and months). And for what ZOS states that it's client-side related, I don't believe it.
Too many people in EU & NA have the same problems. And other games work fine, no connectivity issues.
Even with a very decent graphic card(eg NVidia GeForce GTX 1070) it doesn't always work in ESO.
Before 1PM I played in Trueflame, latency was sometimes +999 in RED status. FPS drops between 5 to 20. Trueflame wasn't even fully populated yet.

If it wasn't for the fact leveling wasn't so easy, I would've not been able to play. Weaving is impossible and trying to rapidly change skill bars is a no go. Agalloch✭✭✭✭✭I have random lag spikes and fps drops since around 15 august also... This issue was not every time...but today was awful.
Even in areas where I was alone ..the fps dropped from 89--to 11
Also the ping very often drops from 70-to 999+ ms. Tried some pvp also ..and after 15 min I quit....because same issues happened ...ping and fps drops for no reason..even if I tried to play in low details ..and with no addons...
I hope this problem will be solved...soon...

This describes my problem 100%. I got in touch with the highest levels of ESO support and after looking at my game consultant they couldn't even tell me anything. I'm still seeing if I can get anything out of them but it's not looking promising.
After every server maintenance I'm hoping the problem fixes but the fact that they didn't have one this week means we have to wait another full week just at the possibility of this horrible lag being fixed.Edited by LZH on August 29, 2016 9:04PM1 -

Same thing for me. It's extremely frustrating but interesting at the same time. Super weird that it can be affecting such a small portion of the playerbase when everyone plays in the same areas and on the same megaservers.
I've literally done everything from fully resetting my computer and playing on a fresh install as well as a fresh reset of my modem and router settings. Seems this one is on ZOS's end. Hopefully they can fix it with the next server maintenance. The game isn't even enjoyable in this state.0 -

thats because its not on your end, there is something in their system that is either flat out wrong, or is conflicting with part of your hardware. atleast thats my guess, very unfortunate, my guess is its in their system since so many people have issues with it and there does not seem to be an underlying issue with a specific piece of hardware. on top of my desktop gaming setup, this issue is ALSO happening on both my asus laptop and my macbook pro, on different networks and isp's.Edited by iam117 on August 29, 2016 9:14PM<Liv3mind><PC/NA - Legion Of The Bloodworks>Snowflake Patrol1 -

I am at my wits end and I think that the sub was a mistake.
If something doesn't change soon - I'll be leaving the game for good

Got what I imagine is the last bit of help ZOS can give me today and they basically said they couldn't do anything. My ISP said everything is fine on their end (and it seems to be seeing as I don't have problems in any other application) and ZOS said it probably isn't a problem with their servers but a problem with another node somewhere in the link from my router to ZOS's servers. So either I'm screwed or ZOS didn't want to admit a server issue on their end.Edited by LZH on August 30, 2016 12:15AM0 -
Katki✭Yeah, I even contacted my internet provider and asked them to do a thorough check on my connection and they said everything is fine - the ONLY thing I can think of that could possibly be related to the issue is to replace the modem and or router - my modem is like one month old, but the router is 2 years or so- I wonder if its worth trying? The thing is I'm NOT THE ONLY ONE with these problems - ZOS says its not on their end, but honestly I think it must be- why does this thread exist if ZOS has everything running smoothly?0

Agalloch✭✭✭✭✭I'm sure this is a server issue. I can play very fine all other games .( didn't wanted to do that because usually I'm playing ESO

I tested Aion, Blade and Soul, Black Desert , Guild Wars 2, Diablo 3 , Path Of Exile, Rift ...and all are running very fine ..no lag spikes, no fps drops.
Please ZOS , check your servers !

Sempars✭✭✭I do not understand how this is not more of a issue for everyone else. The Lag in PVP is killing this game. More people quit each day and give up cause they lag in pvp. Not all of us want to PVE all day.
Why does Zos keep adding things and not fix the damn game. I STILL can not use the crafting tables or port into wrothgar with out crash like really??? How many months has this DLC came out. IS this the modern MMO practice SELL SELL as much as you can before you close the game? No one note in last 2 updates for XBOX talking about lag fixes.
How many more months will it take to get this damn game fixed????0 -

This is probably the reverse that they'll see when they try to ping you... The problem lies between ZOS "Mega"servers and its users.
I've given up on sending tickets to ZOS regarding latency and FPS. Imo this connection is really low for mmo, and second - did you just compare playing eso with skype?My connection is 1,4Mb/s, no problems with skype
