Cold Fire?

I looked and couldn't find and answer. Is it intentional that all things Cold Fire don't show AoE, or is it a long standing bug in PvP?

What do you mean "show aoe?"

The red targeting circles when enemies shoot at you? I see those.

Sometimes I don't see the the circle or the projectile all I'll see is my character on fire, it only happens if the game is really laggy though

The red circle never shows for me.
