thaumaturge vs elemental expert, which one should i mostly put my cp points in?

Also im thinking of creating tbs all 160cp gold, would this be a better choice then other sets for completing vmsa? Thanks!

I chose to go with Thaumaturge over Elemental Expert. A lot of how my templar is build uses DoT effects, so I'd say it depends on what the majority of your skills are built around. I tend to view Elemental Expert more for Sorcerers.
