Recovery Nerfed - Question To PC Players

So it is no secret that both Recovery and Max Stats were nerfed in Shadows of the Hist. However, I am concerned with how this'll affect my build.

I run really high Magicka Recovery on my Magicka Sorcerer to help me maneuver and fight groups in 1vX. Having Magicka at all times is key to my build, so I can remove restrictions on my quickness and ability casts based on resources.

I have 3K Magicka regen on my DW Bar and 3.7K Magicka Regen on my Restoration Staff bar. Lots of percent bonuses being used to do this.

1) How much Magicka Regeneration can I expect to lose on this same build?

2) Does Spell Damage also face the same nerf to balance out, so you don't gain more stats by stacking into damage over recovery?

I don't plan on lowering my recovery next patch. It will stay this high, but I want to know how much I'll need to sacrifice to keep it that high.

(Don't criticize the build. I assure you I do just fine. If you follow around enemy zergs and score ~500K AP solo with minimal time invested then you'd understand -_-)

As a follow up, I don't have an issue with the nerf (ZOS says it's a "fix" lol). It looks like it affects your stats more the higher they go though. Similar to a soft cap.

That is why it concerns me since my recovery is abnormally high.

The change to recovery was a bug fix: the math in your current build of the game applies percentages multiplicatively. The math was corrected to additively.

Let's say you have a Major buff (20%), a set effect like Willow's Path (15%), 25% from CP and an extra 10% from class passives or a Minor buff.

    Multiplicatively: 1 * 1.25 * 1.1 * 1.15 * 1.2 = 1.8975 (+89.75%)

    Additively: 1* (1.25 + .1 + .15 + .2) = 1.7 (+70%)

    189.75 / 170 = 1.116 (11.6% loss)

So is cost reduction the better stat now?

I guess you will lose like 500 regen minimum. My 3.1k Stam regen became 2.4k.

People around here toss around "bug" "nerf" "exploit" around like they actually know what they are.
