XVII Legion (Magicka/Stamina DragonKnight Community. PvP/PvE)

XVII LEGION
12th LEGION
In a time before the systematic collapse of the empire there was a Legion of Dragon Knights who fought for the emperor of Cyrodiil. Though few in number their strength and power were hard to match throughout Tamriel. Merits were given to the legion time and time again throughout the ages. Eventually a Standard of Might was bestowed to each Battalion to carry into battle. The standard bore their sigil and bestowed great power to them during many wars.
During an insurrection which occurred due to heavy taxation on the lower classes, strict curfews and martial law being decreed, the XVII Legion was dispatched to the district of Rivenspire to quell an uprising. A group who called themselves the Akav Militia killed the local garrison and barricaded the district in an attempt to seize the district. When the XVII Legion showed up the Militia quickly set up siege defenses. Within the month the Legion had starved the militia in surrendering. Once the gates were lifted the Eternal Dragon who commanded the Legion ordered the 2nd Battalion to round up the civilians and militia members. Once rounded up the Vampiric Members of the Legion were allowed to feed upon the prisoners before the Battalion slaughtered them. No Survivors were recorded to be found in the scrolls pertaining to this event.
Once the emperor was slain and the collapse of the empire happened, the Aldmeri Dominion and Ebonheart Pact formed a truce to seize temporary power. Learning of the Legion's Acts during various wars an order was decreed that all Dragon Knights and their bloodlines were to be executed as they were considered a daedric curse upon the land for their seemingly demonic powers.
This is the cause for the shortage of Dragon Knights.
The Surviving Members of the XVII Legion are seeking other survivors to reunite and once again go into battle as the XVII Legion.
