Funny, I was thinking the same thing. Is there some kind of forum guild named 'Star Farmers"?
No but there is such a thing as called "being an active member of the community". Seriously stop making accusations that are unfounded.

Oh Joe, everyone knows you are ZOS's brightest star. Don't let anyone keep you from shining!
ESO is very good game in general but the humongous amount of greed shop cosmetic options that keep increasing, is slowly killing my will to keep my subscription up as a support.

As a software developer and CC administrator I know how hard failed deployment can be. One time me and my team had literally thousands of people waiting when our CallCenter campaign failed to start.

So you're saying that you failed to start a campaign due to technical issue related to your professional responsibilities... Hm. Has a thought of you being not really good system administrator ever occurred to you?
Maybe constantly failing to do your job isn't a good thing? And there's absolutely nothing to be proud about, or to root for?
No need to get all salty. I think he's just pointing out one instance in his professional life where he stumbled - because don't we all every now and then. Doesn't necessarily mean he's a terrible system administrator.
I will also defend that there is one thing he's sure to be proud of: He isn't trying to start an issue with his post, only seeking to boost the morale of ZOS and ESO players - only being hampered by people trying to downsize him.

I have no problem spending money. Like I said, subbed for two years.
I also don't REALLY have a problem with cash shops, though it is well recognized they almost always represent the sleazier aspect of the industry. Up until a few months ago ZOS's crown store wasn't too bad.
I think part of the problem is their timing lately has been off. They haven't had a crown sale in forever, and they pulled a bunch of their "limited item going away" shenanigans right before a DLC and a ton of new cosmetic stuff is added, basically fishing for crown sales.
Combined with the steadily rising price of many items ($40 mounts?!?) I think many have become somewhat disenfranchised by this aspect of their business model.
Still love the game. Just don't lump me into some marginalized "doesn't want to pay" category just because you don't agree with me.
I've probably sunk more $$ into this company than most people.

Love the game but this company is extremely money hungry, doesn't care at all about their community within game, never fixes ANYTHING, loves to create false marketing that doesn't even make it to Live... As we seen from today's patch.

Seriously console is a mess and have been since the update and ZoS are too proud to say sorry or give something to The players as a apology.

It's alright to screw things up once. Hell, things can go a little rough a few times. But it is not alright to screw up almost every single update, to screw up every single big crown announcement. This year we had bootleg anniversary cake, bootleg launch of Dark Brotherhood which resulted in bizarre exploits being used and many people getting banned during and after that event (including innocent players getting banned as well due to imperfection of their system). We had a bootleg Breton Hero Costume that looks worse than anything fan-made would be. And now we have another bootleg update that brings in numerous questionable features (like Crown Hairstyles instead of something more immersive and convenient, not to mention that all hairstyles there are mostly old with little addition of something new). One just doesn't screw up this often.
I also love how they also made a fake promise to raise caps: "Oh hey guys, we're increasing the CP cap! But wait a second, what we will not tell you is that we're also going to decrease the amount of % each point gives so with having +30 CP cap you'll be actually be at level of something like 350CP now". And how they made all items of boss drops in trials "tradeable" until they roll the patch on Live and exclude monster sets which were the culprit of this all.
Too much lying, hiding and screwing things up.
And stop saying "it's so hard to keep all things in touch". For some reason other games do that just fine, but with ESO it's always a problem.
Originally I booked today as a day off so I could play the new DLC. A work mate of mine needed this day for personal reasons and I gave it to her while thinking damn, I will miss the first few hours!
I am lurking the forums from work (shttt ) because I wanted to see how people were reacting to the DLC and to my surprise the maintenance is still in process!! I am kinda new to games and I have no idea if this is normal, but I guess that if they're taking forever there is a good reason behind it.
We had a similar problem too, at work, our system was not working and we could not check people in to get into their holiday cruise, it was awful and we had thousand of zombies screaming at us xD
I know what it is being there, I am sure zos will make the wait worth it
Edited to correct some typos and grammar mistakes, even though I am sure there are still many more. Olé!
Besides, since when is anything done for the sake of profit automatically the right thing?
What are we, Ferengi?
