Says I don't have enough gold when I do.

Hi. I'm new and wondering why when I'm at the Woodworker and try to buy a staff and I clearly have enough gold, it says "You don't have enough gold." This is the second character I've tried to make with the same problem. What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

    How weird.

    But I've never tried to buy a staff. I always make them.

    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    I suggest you buy a staff off the guild stores at lesser than half that price.

    FYI it only counts the gold on you, not what is in the bank.

    Thank you for all the answers. I figured it out finally after submitting a ticket to tech support. I had some addons clashing making the prices appear lower. It's working properly now and I just can't afford it. lol Problem now is I'm at the Guild Store (not my guild) and no items are showing up for sale. Sorry for my noobness! Any help is appreciated! Thanks again.
