The vampire hunter started in the quest: Mist and Shadow and the dark brotherhood gold coast quest: The Vampire's Prey. Is this the start of Dawnguard. I'm just saying it would be nice to see vampire hunter Mel Adrys of a Main storyline title of his own.
Lord Harkon would be niceBruhItsOver9000 wrote: »Yes, but only if we get to see lord harkon.

So we could see the creation of Dawnguard and maybe some Vampiric and Lycin styles motifs (and hopefully Draugher style or Ancient Nord styles since it takes place in Skyrim).
I don't know what those Lycin or Draugher things are. But, you know... A couple vampire motifs, maybe a dawnguard motif and a separate generic monster hunter motif could be cool.
In seriousness though, the implication from Silver Bolts is, that the Dawnguard already exists in this era. Initially, I wasn't thrilled when people mentioned them, but gradually, over time, I've come around. We might see them featured into content, particularly if there's more monster focused content in the future.
Also, The Elder Scrolls uses the term Lycanthropy indiscriminately for all of Hercine's werebeasts. It would be neat to see other varieties available, such as the Werebears, or Wereboars, with distinct stats and abilities.
I have hoped since the beginning that each type of Were would match the race, with Wolves being universial.
Example: Argonian - Were crocodile
Nord - Were bear
And so on.
Werecrocodiles and maybe werelions are the only flavors that are actually race locked, at least in the lore. I honestly can't remember if the werelions are khajiit only or not. Things like Werebears or Werevultures are universal, just like Wolves. But, their native habitats are much smaller. So you're less likely to encounter them wandering around unless you're in the right province.
Of course, Wereboars were bugged in Daggerfall, as I recall, so the player couldn't become one, even though it was supposed to be possible.
Now I have learn more about Lord Hrakon on wikia. He is a powerful vampire lord and he once was a mighty kingInhuman003 wrote: »Lord Harkon would be niceBruhItsOver9000 wrote: »Yes, but only if we get to see lord harkon.
Thanks for the info on the the timeline that helps and the location of the fort.It fits in to the timeline it could be included when we get the zone for morrowind.
From the Elder Scrolls Wiki
"The fort can only be accessed via Dayspring Canyon north of Stendarr's Beacon. It is located in the province of Morrowind, hidden deep within the Velothi Mountains near the Skyrim border."
But if we get Morrowind ... I will rather see something else.... all hail Mephala. and you can keep your Sithis

he isn't the only vampire hunter.... there are those guys near gil-var-del in grahtwood - though they aren't as professional granted.
As I recall, those are Buoyant Armigers. They're a small militant sect of the Tribunal Temple. But, it's been nearly two years since I ran the quests there, so I could be remembering that wrong.
