Can we have a pve campaign now

I don't see it hurting anybody to add it, but you shouldn't be able to 100% the achievements by going to the PVE instance. It's a warzone with the most dangerous types of mobs - other people. There should be real achievement for getting out of there alive.

a pure PVE campaign would for sure suffice the-mostly-PVEers like me !

How is that balance? Are you kidding me? You're getting wrecked because YOU. Don't blame the game for balance issues when you clearly can't handle yourself in cyrodiil. If you want to quest and/or hunt down skyshards in cyrodiil then be prepared to fight or flee when you see eneny players. This game caters enough to pve and casuals.

As someone who got twice the explorer and Tamriel Hero titles and plays pvp, I feel kind of entitled to answer this thread.
People who are asking for a pve campaign want to be able to complete pve achievements where you need to complete delves, anchors and quests.

Questing and getting the delves done are a total PITA if you don't enjoy pvp.
Even still:
I like very much pvp but I totally hated having to rush through the quests dialogs or getting killed while trying to kill some boss in a delve in the opposite corner of my faction's.

To be honest, getting ganked while questing or completing delves only happened 4 times for each of those 2 characters.
Because I stealthed.
But sneaking all the way to my quest/delve objective was no fun. At all.

And guess what? It's not because I got the titles the hard boring way everyone got to do same.

What's the point of a PvE "campaign?" That sounds like just another PvE expansion. And playing with guildmates that are regularly active in PvP is more fun than I ever had in Skyrim. This sounds like some QQ from someone that was recently ganked or ran into a zerg while trying to get skyshards or dolems.

@xboxone1Q My templar is by far the most durable (aside from my zero damage tank) and easiest to play in Cyrodiil. Certainly not unkillable, but nothing is when you are facing experienced gankers and better players. Put your templar in heavy impen armor with about 30k health when in Cyro. Be sure you have ritual slotted. Most gankers will pass you by and you'll be a PITA to kill, but still have enough damage to do the quests. Better yet, get a couple of more players to go with you.

If you are trying to collect skyshards behind recently flipped faction gates, be aware that there are probably angry, underpopulated enemy players watching the gates and skyshards with a vengeance.

If you are getting ganked at a quest hub, post it in zone chat. Some PvPers love to gank the gankers, especially ones lame enough to troll questers.

Doing PvE in Cyrodiil is a total blast! I wouldn't change a thing! You want a rush? Go way, way behind enemy lines and start questing! Why is it a rush? Because if you die you have a long freakin' ride back!

There is an element of strategy to doing this though. I've got Tameriel Hero on all 8 of my toons. Let me make a few suggestions to anyone that aspires to be a Tamerel Hero:

- Look at the map now and then - Pick an area to quest that is not a hot zone. If enemy troops need to ride from a nearby keep to a battle zone and you are in between them, guess what? You will be killed in about 2 seconds as they pass by just for being in the wrong place.

- Look at the map (2) - don't try to quest in an area where another alliance has been pushed back to their gates. They will become restless and start running delves until the map improves to their advantage.

- Look at the map (3) - Pick an area where an enemy faction (or your own) has control of a large area. Go way behind enemy lines. Nobody is back there except other PvE players of that faction. It's 50/50 if they even want to fight with you so a lot of times you can both just go about your business.

- Nights Silence Set armor is your new best friend. It allows you to sneak without a speed penalty. The only other way to do this is by being an advanced Vampire. High speed sneaking is like not sneaking at all so you can get your quests done much faster.

- If you clobbered in an area, don't go back there for about a half hour if you want to avoid fighting. Give the other players times to finish what they are doing and they'll move on to other things. Otherwise stealth up and watch your back!

- If you see another player of the same alliance that is clearly questing, try making contact with them. Tell them if you've seen any enemy players. Offer to group up or rez them if they die. Most of the time this is well received. Occasionally you will encounter a double agent that will rat you out, but that's rare.

Merchants are available in questing areas so you can unload and repair and stuff. Don't forget that random inn that you might come across. The bartenders will buy your loot and make repairs just like any regular merchant.

You will find that between the generous XP and loot drops that questing in Cyrodiil is a very rewarding activity. Go give it a try!

Why is there so much resistance to a PvE campaign? How is it even going to affect anyone. It is something that more than just a few people want out of the game....

No offense but I'm confused. I agree. But I also disagree

1.Is imperial city. Mostly PvE or PvP?

2. If Imperial City is Mostly PvE. Without breaking much of the lore. Can Imperial City be moved on PvE campaigns only?

3. If Imperial City is Mostly PvP. Then Imperial can stay and be only acess with PvP only Campaign.

4. If There was a PvE campaign. Let's say. Another 3 months from now. If Imperial City was moved in PvE Campaign also. How dead will Cyrodiil be? No offense

5. If there was a PvE campaign. And Imperial City is in PvE campign also. What will happen to other factions? Will there be no one on the other side? Meaning how it is now when you reach higher zones? Like if you were DC and Reached level 50 and went to AD. No one will be there from other faction. I must admit I was little disappointed not seeing others from different factions. Hence why I love PvP more.

6. If there was a PvP only campaign and no PvE. What would cyrodiil be like? Even without imperial city?

Thus we need balance to have both PvE and PvP campaigns together as one.

With the changes coming from One Tamriel, I could almost get on board with a campaign in which peace exists between the three factions. But, to balance it out, there would have to be some type of PVP added to the rest of the world... possibly an "Invite to Duel" mechanic or maybe random temporary battle zones around certain non-quest related areas like delves or dolmens or world bosses.

How would that work in an MMO? As in Massive Multiplayer Online.

The remaster of Skyrim is in the PS4 store btw currently. Only pre order right now.

Lol just cause you get destroyed doesn't mean the game isn't balanced. we all sucked when we first entered cyrodiil. You getting destroyed isn't because the game isn't balanced, It's because you don't know how to play yet. especially if you are mainly a quester. The quest won't prepare you for PvP they are to easy. Templars are also really good so it's definitely not the class

Tryhards? Hahahahah, oh you mean players who are playing in the pvp zone as designed.

Wrong again. A lot of us care about pvp.

If you are tired of getting wrecked, go play in a PvE zone or learn to sneak and be aware of the surroundings.

Think of this as hard pve, gotta watch your back, think before you rush in, scout the area first, set up and plan your quests accordingly. It gives a twist on pve questing.

As it would not affect PVP at all or hardcore PVP players, I'm all for it. Sure let them go in and PVE both Cyrodil and IC.

That said, whats good for the goose...

The opposite would be like a gift from the gods. A full "One Tamriel PVP Server". Again PVE players should have nothing to say. You wouldn't login there and get ganked.

And ZOS could neatly give PVPer's what they want for a PVP Expansion from hell. I'd never leave my computer. It would be a brilliant counter to the upcoming CU game.

(rules like guildies or allies could not attack each other, meaning guilds that your guild has a "Guild Friends" list would not be attackable) Sets the stage for massive wars and revenge. "Duel" command could override no combat guild or ally setting.

No one cares about pvp anymore??? Is that why I have to queue sometimes an hour early on my guilds PvP night because of a 85+ queue? It's obvious you know nothing about PvP.
As said, all the map is PvE except Cyrodiil. Deal with it. Get some friends to run with in Cyrodiil.

I would rather PvP here with the horrible lag than play Skyrim! FYI, Skyrim was so dummied down compared to say Daggerfall or Morrowind. You want to play solo, play single player games then. Or as mentioned, wait till your alliance owns the map, then go. I see this as another "Nerf" thread. "Fix this cause I can't do it!!! Q_Q.
